Hopefully Cloquet doesn't win this one, because right now they are in position to play Duluth East in the quarterfinals. Don't screw it up!!!!

How do you see the section seeding ending up?

Duluth East
Elk River
Grand rapids ?
Andover ?
Forest Lake ?
Cloquet ?
Anoka ?
Cambridge ?
I've been saying this:

1. DE
2. ER
3. Rapids
4. Andover
5. Flake (4 and 5 could switch, though; they tied. This is just my call.)
6. St. Francis (deserve credit for all their wins)
7. Cambridge (beat Cloquet)
8. Cloquet (Cambridge loss shows that yes, they are this bad. Get some credit for a tie with GR, though)
9. Princeton
10. Anoka (winless vs. the section; tied Cloquet)

We'll find out tomorrow night.

Funny how both I and the Rapids fans want East to draw Cloquet in the quarterfinals...

This is the way I see it!

1. Duluth East
2. Elk River
3. Grand Rapids
4. Andover
5. Forest Lake
6. St Francis
7. Princeton
8. Cambridge
9. Cloquet
10. Anoka

I would think you have to Princeton above Cambridge because they beat them twice. However i think 6-7-8 could go either way. Just my thought

Jacks 4
Flakes 2

Final.

That may have ruined our dream quarterfinal matchup.

Revised guess at seeding, now that all the 7AA games are over:

1. DE
2. ER
3. GR
4. Andover (now certain)
5. Flake
6. Cloquet
7. St. Francis
8. Cambridge
9. Princeton
10. Anoka

I suppose there's a slight chance Cloquet gets the bump over Flake after tonight's result, but I think their overall section record's a bit too ugly to justify that. If they did, it would set up a potential DE-CEC matchup in the semis.

Kinda missed on this one... Cloquet controlled most of this game.

Yes, I did. Never thought Cloquet could do what they di, but congrats to the team. That's a pretty big win for them. And, playing strong leading into the Section's - can't be all bad. Good luck Esse & troops!
