My vote goes to Connor Gaarder from Edina, he is the proverbial Jan Brady of the Hornets and all he ever hears is "Anders, Anders, Anders."
Pat Borer - Benilde -St. Margarets
John Haeg- Holy Angels
Connor Gaarder -Edina
Joe Rehkamp- Breck
Tim Labombard & A.J Siiro- Bloomington Jefferson
Andrew Prochno-Minnetonka
Not sure if he is "looked over", but Same Rendle from GR is having a great senior year. He reminds me of a young Goligoski... in fact, it looks like he copied his style.

He is for sure overlooked, at least south of Cloquet. I was very impressed with some of the plays he was making against East this year. I wouldn't say he is on Goligoski's level, but he is pretty solid.
I also agree with Schammel. He started off a little slow but is extremely hot as of late. kudos to how he has helped red wing play extremely well lately
Rendle will surprise a few people at the next level. He's sneaky good - too bad his team was not up to their normal level this year. He's going to contribute no matter where he goes or what he does next year.

He's the real deal, no question...
Rendle is a good player, but I would be surprised if he plays D1 hockey. Maybe with a year or two of juniors, but he needs to get stronger.
As of late, he's trying to do too much himself, which I feel has only hurt his game. No doubt the team looks to him to do some work and get some points, but he controls the game better by being the quarterback, not by trying to take over.

I don't think Haeg would qualify as overlooked.
I do agree with Gaarder, Rehkamp and Borer. I would also add Ben Persian from Orono

That would be a great style to copy. Where will Rendle play next year?

I know someone already mentioned him, but I would like to emphasize Sam Coatta from Tonka.
Not affiliated with the school, but I think I remember seeing him as a Freshman in the state tourney.
Very solid player and while I haven't seen a grip of games I notice him just as much as any Gardiners on the ice. Putting together a solid season, looks a little on the short side but could he be ending up in the USHL?
What's the definition of "most overlooked"? Pat Borer from BSM recently signed a D1 commitment to play for Nebraska-Omaha, so he is one mentioned here that was not overlooked.
Alex Robb- Chaska, doing very well this year I was impressed when I saw him play
Andy Pearson- Burnsville, someone mentioned him earlier I couldn't agree more with this kid
Nate Seashore- Hopkins, listened to a few games via the internet and he seemed to be in the mix alot, Boyd takes most of the attention for them
Trent Casper- Eagan, not always mentioned with the other goalies
What about Matt Baer from STA? When he left Edina, he was pretty good and know I don't know. Anyone know? I've heard he is pretty good football player. Does anyone know what he plans on doing for college/juniors, if he is even going to play hockey?

George has good hands good speed and sees the ice very well. He is a very consistent player will give 110% every time he steps on the ice. In the corners along the boards he will come out with the puck 98% of the time. In the defensive zone in a tight game he will win the draw just about everytime.
George is a big strong kid. but he does NOT! see the ice well at all. He does not see anyone else out there. He might win some battles but once he does, he doesn't find a linemate to give the puck up to.

just because he committed D1 doesn't mean that he cant be under-rated

This kid has great moves and HEART. Tough to get the puck from this kid along the boards or corners. Only 5'10", but solid as a rock. Great shot - slap and wrist. See's the ice very well. A real sleeper when it comes time to moving up. I guess his dad played somewhere in Minneapolis in the late 70's and then played a bit up in Canada. Maybe it's in the genes.
