Because you just lost to the #8 team in your district, ending your season.

Roseau way too high... only three quality wins in a season and they are #2? splitting with Edina, Wayzata during the season and a loss to Chaska in their own tourney? Playing patsys all year long might be their demise..I ain't sayin I'm just sayin....

Roseau hasn't played very well for back to back to back games all year long. Look at the EP and Roseau Tourney scores. Depth could be an issue for the Rams in the Regionals.

roseau is way to high? lets see who gona knock them off? now their #1. we could have a problem at regions from who? roseau has a good chance to make state where it will be decided by the refs and special teams play. also the reson roseau is one right now is because the two quality wins were just in the last few weeks. i watched the top teams play and they all could be ranked 1 however roseau gets the nod for the recent win over wayzata and edina. the elks droped with their lose to woodbury.

I love homers... Elks drop with their recent loss to #10 woodbury but Roseau moves up with a recent loss to #8 Chaska. Watchdog must not be watchin all the games...

"where it will be decided by the refs and special teams play"

Already covering his ground in case it doesn't go their way at state. A team of the caliber you speak of should be able to shore up their special teams play before the big show.

well the elks were ranked #1 fresh off their lose to wayzata. say what ya want i dont care. roseau is just as deserving of the rank as any other team. if you think roseau is gona be an easy win at state that great! just what we want. dont worry about the power play unit i know thats the best in the state without any question.

Who is gonna knock them off? I will tell you.. either Edina If they get out of the toughest district in the state. Burnsville? Chaska? Eden Prairie? That is only D6... Blaine. Woodbury? Wayzata, OMG.... These teams have been Playing each other all year long getting better and tested day in and day out... I understand that Roseau has a bit of a logistical problem finding teams to play that they don't beat 20-1. In my post saying that the Rams were too high I didn't mean that they were not a good team I was just making the point that there are teams like Chaska and Burnsville and Blaine that are putting runs together right now (You are all about recent games)against Quality opponents..And I don't think that they are going to have to rely on their special teams to win the game. By the way don't complain when you are in the box and not on the power play when you are dealing with the city refs

well you guys said regions and i came back with who. the answer i get is a bunch of cake eater teams that are not in our region. good luck to all in the playoffs and may all the best team reach the state tourney and ep is not one of them. i love how you wrote them down we only beat them three zip but they were never really in the game. i would also like to add that when this team was together as second year squirts we beat woodbury and burnsville.

Maybe I have this wrong, but it looks like Roseau has an almost lock on getting to the finals in state. Nobody in their District to deal with, nobody in their Region to deal with, first game at state against a weak South team (possible Minneapolis Park which has been beaten handily by several teams in D3, several of which won't even get out of their distict).

As with the Roseau tournament, let all the other teams beat each other up and use all their energy, then let Roseau play the last man standing.

For anyone to get out of the East or West Regions, God help them, they have to beat basically ever other team in the state, except Roseau.

Watchdog,
Work on your grammar a little - I have no idea if you think Roseau can't ever win or if they will always win.

Watchdog you are the homer of all homers.. this is too funny.. when we were mites we beat Hallock 3-2... what does that have to do with Peewee hockey. You keep dancing around the loss to Chaska? Congrats on the 3-0 blowout of EP I am sure that they saw it that way too. This whole thread is about the Rankings and you my friend haven't even come close to convincing anyone on this board that you deserve the #1 rank. 4 Teams in D6 alone could be ranked above you and have RECENT Quality wins to prove it.

Watchdog...

I'm going to try give you a little advise with good intentions.

1. Try to avoid living vicariously through your children's accomplishments and basing your
self-worth on what your children do, rather than you what you have done.

2. Please quit with the Me vs. Everyone else rambling. You are embarrassing us up here.
Roseau doesn't need your constant defense.

3. Learn to accept success with humility and defeat with determination.

4. Quit babbling and boasting, and go on to topics worthy of grown ups.

5. Find more hobbies.

ill take your advice. one thing i may add my children along with their team accomplish alot on the ice but i and many other hockey parents do alot off the ice. their success is directly linked to what we do as parents. i do however waste my time arguing with people on this board about things that matter not. changing opinions will never happen and expressing them seems to do nothing but piss people off even those you may other wise like. so since ive seemed to develope a pattern of pissing people off even in roseau im resigning my position as the watchdog. all anyone does is come on here to whine and complain anyway. you talk about me babbling and boasting have you read this hockey board? actually all 5 on your list applies to 90% of the posters on these boards. thanks for the advice kind lady and i will sign off.

Doogey.. you don't need to leave us. Heck half the fun of having people from a home town is they pump their team.and we can give them a little ribbing. I am not always right and there are some great contacts on this board. I have had great conversations at the rink with some very passionate parents that can be super people. Roseau will get thier chance to show their stuff and the only ranking that matters is the one at the end of the year. I could pick 10 teams that will have that chance and there are good reasons for all of them to be there. Should be fun so sit back and enjoy. Your kid might get only one chance to win a State titile.

Watchdog.

Sorry to pick on you. I'm trying to be constructive with my criticism.

It's ok to be proud, it's your pride that gets you in trouble.

Peace.
