Last Week- Big Games

Post by hockeyjunkie2 »

One week left with some big games left to decide some section seeding who do you like?

THURSDAY
Blaine at Maple Grove, playing for better seed in 6AA
White Bear Lake at Woodbury, seed wise more important for WBL
Wayzata at Hopkins, they'll play again more to see who gets home game
CDH at Roseville, CDH shot at co-conference champs and a loss could more them down a seed?
FRIDAY
Roseau at Grand Rapids, roseau playing for a shot at 1 seed
SATURDAY
Eagan at Apple Valley, records will be close if AV beats Chaska and Eagan losses to BJ or EV earlier this week
Moorhead at Hill-Murray, playing for 1 seeds in their sections?

Just some games I noticed with some significance, add others if you can think of some.

Maple Grove, only because I like their story and I want to see them do well.

Woodbury, White Bear Lake is too up and down.

Wayzata, really impressed me against Tonka.

Cretin, just an overall better team than Roseville.

Roseau, pretty much a coin flip. As a side note I would say that Moorhead already has the 1 seed in the section locked up.

Eagan, beat Valley earlier in the year and I like them again in this one.

Hill, once again pretty much a coin flip.

I'd add Minnetonka at Edina on Saturday to the list.

As for the other ones, I'll bite. Here are my picks.

Blaine over MG
WBL over Woodbury
Hopkins over Wayzata
CDH over Roseville
Roseau over GR
Eagan over AV
Moorhead over Hill
Edina over Tonka

I'm pretty sure it's been posted that the 8AA seeding meeting is tomorrow, though, so Roseau and Moorhead won't be affected by these games.

I would add New Prague @ Red Wing for the #1 seed in Section 1A to the list.

Chaska beat AV 4-2. Wow its a race for the 5th spot in the lake for them.

Will AV beat eagan?
