What are the chances in the next section alignments that they'll move Lourdes up to section 1AA and move Dodge County out of it? It will make the section more competitive and Dodge County can barely beat JM. What do you think?

A couple of years ago Lourdes was going to have to move up due to their co-op enrollment, so they dropped Chatfield and Plainview to avoid that, so I am pretty sure that they don't have that desire. Also, it would be awful to be able to siphon Rochester's best talent and then not win the section eh?
Dodge County has no hope of moving down to Class A because they use players from Kasson, Byron, Triton, and Hayfield. Until they can make two teams from the four schools, they will have to remain AA.
This year 1AA now includes LeSeuer/Henderson/St.Petter/Montgomery/Lonsdale

Lourdes would have a lot easier road to State if they were in 1AA this year and most years. They would easily win section 1AA and quite possibly will not win 1A this year.SEMinnHockeyNut wrote:A couple of years ago Lourdes was going to have to move up due to their co-op enrollment, so they dropped Chatfield and Plainview to avoid that, so I am pretty sure that they don't have that desire. Mayo would be the 3 or 4 seed in section 1A this year and will be #1 in 1AA. Pathetic

Where would you want to be where it is tougher or easier?????
What about playing Shattuck up the road a few games if possible.
Holy Angels and Benilde do..
I think this group of Lourdes kids could do well against them.
If you had them on the schedule maybe you could get all the top players in Rochester wanting that opportunity.
Another thing would be great to see was the Public Schools scheduling Lourdes during the year would be good crowds and spirited action.

Not so fast, They did not respond well to the physical game that International Falls threw at them in the Kiwanis Tournament.
