Class A and AA STATE TOURNAMENTS - YOUR PREDICTIONS!

The 2009 Girls State Hockey Tournaments are about to get underway, and you know what that means: another Prognostictor Contest! I thought I would borrow from what we did last year which worked out very well, especially for chickendance who took home 1st place out of 26 contestants with 28 total points!

Here are the rules:

Quarterfinals: Pick each game winner and a score. One point (+1) for each correct game winner and one point deducted (-1) for each game wrong. Two bonus points (+2) awarded for each correct score.

Semifinals: Name your winner of each Upper Bracket and Lower Bracket semifinal game. Three points (+3) awarded for each correct winner named.

Finals: Name your winners of the Class A and AA Championship games - five points (+5) for each.

Special Request: If you want to enter your scores/winners in a series of posts, please make a new post for each prediction, as opposed to going back and editing a previous one.

As expected, our contestants believe Class A is a two horse race. Right now we have an even split, with 6 saying Blake and 6 Warroad.

In AA three teams have Championship votes. Hopkins leads with 6, then Stillwater 4 and Edina 2.

I hope you are just making crazy picks in hope of being different and getting lucky. Elk River would have no chance against Stillwater, that is if they get lucky against Eagan. And Hopkins only by 1 against ER? Is the stuff you are smoking for medicinal purposes or pleasure? I understand everyone on here has their own opinion and is entitled to it, but let's actually think before we post here. Just a thought.
