It's WBL's to loose. If they play the way they can, they win the section.

I am also surprised. Despite feelings about either team, but teams played a top Eden Prairie team twice, one came away 2-0, the other 1-1. That decides it for me.
People don't want to see AHA/BJ...........They want to see Edina and Jefferson. Maybe next year for AHA

"Also, I'm not sure how you figure the attendance. The combined enrollments of Burnsville and AHA are very similar to those of Jefferson and Edina. I believe all 4 have very strong fan bases as well."

"Mariucci will be packed either way."

I won't be the one to give it as I'd probably leave out some needed details, but if you knew the story behind AHA's coach being there, you would know that any match up between BJ and AHA attracts quite a few fans. I would bet Mariucci would close to sell out if they play in the final.

Whoops, misread the first post. I thought you said Burnsville and AHA, not BJ and AHA.

But that does not help, really. Jefferson has barely over half of Burnsville's enrollment. AHA and BJ's enrollments combined are only a little bit bigger than Edina's.

I know there is some history between the BJ-AHA-Trebil triangle...but seriously, Trebil has been at AHA for over 10 years now. I'm sure some people hold some lingering sentiments, but I don't think that's exactly a major draw.

I'm sure both matchups would pack Mariucci. But I see no reason to issue a blanket statement saying that BJ-AHA would draw more than what some people will see as a state championship-like game.

u have a better cahnce of seeing God this year than seeing WBL in the state tournament. a disaster of a team in all phases including coaching.
