If that scoring method is so effective then why don't all teams use it? I have never seen Benik play before but come on a kid has to be pretty good to put up 63 goals in a season.funsize11 wrote:you guys benik is a good player but he isnt one of the best have any of you went and watched st francis their break out is having benik sit at the red line with another forward and have the defense throw the puck up the boards to them...if little falls used this while festler and hanowski played together i will garentee that they would have easely exceeded 400 points that season and benik would not have touched festlers record this year

yeah Honestly, funsize give us an answer to why all the other teams are not using that break out, if it is THAT easy then more teams would be doing it, and more kids in the EASY conference or non-conference schedule that benik plays (not chooses) would be putting up numbers like this kid is doing, not any random average hockey player can go put up those large numbers, it takes something special to be doing that, so I believe that there has been enough bad things said about Benik on this forum and he has done everything in his junior season to prove all the statements that were said wrong, so if theres nothing else nice to say about him, dont say anything at all!

Enough bashing on the kid. He plays in St. Francis. If they use such an easy breakout that creates effortless scoring chances, why doesn't everyone use it?
I mean the kid plays for St. Francis, it's their system, he's just doing his job. If he would have transferred, lets say to Elk River! what would everyone have said about him then?
Also, for people who said he plays no one, look who he plays with... nothing against St. Francis but its not like he's out there with studs to take some of the work off of him.

I agree for the most part with this list however from woodbury Hyland is the best defenseman. Herbert is also solid however hyland gets more playing time and is overall the better player.seek & destroy wrote:Pretty good list to work off of at the bottom of this list of Juniors. My opinion based on the season is that Burke from AHA should be ranked higher than he is but at least this list includes the right players:ImissMYhockey wrote:This class also has some pretty solid goaltenders. no other teams use it because against the top teams you cant win when you dont play defense. I will prove this by saying this strategy didnt even work against a sub par princeton team in the playoffs...in fact they got stomped on. now benik is a very very good goal scorer but he cannot play both sides of the rink once i see that i will be impressed

No it doesn't. Are u absolutely crazy. Crookston plays Warroad twice a year and you're telling me that you haven't notcied that Brock Nelson and Brett Hebel are a million times better. Both of them had over 50 points in 25 games. That speaks for itself doesnt it???????Brett Farve wrote:morgan terpstra of crookston has to be the best hands down. 18 points in 23 games speaks for itself doesnt it???????

I'm not trying to be a wise guy, but why?hockeyhair15 wrote:Forbert hands down
I hear so much about Forbort and granted, I've only seen him play a few times, but what is his game that makes him so much better?
I'm not trying to take anything away from him. Looking for real, quality answers.

What are you talking about?
Obviously Sven Larson is the best junior in the state. He has 1,000,000,000 goals and he is a physical beast. He is a middle aged man who likes to wait outside grade schools. He plays hockey on the weekends with 8 year olds so he can dangle about anyone. After high school a community college where he will get caught for dealing drugs and selling stolen cars. He is the best junior and is also a werewolf
