If that scoring method is so effective then why don't all teams use it? I have never seen Benik play before but come on a kid has to be pretty good to put up 63 goals in a season.

yeah Honestly, funsize give us an answer to why all the other teams are not using that break out, if it is THAT easy then more teams would be doing it, and more kids in the EASY conference or non-conference schedule that benik plays (not chooses) would be putting up numbers like this kid is doing, not any random average hockey player can go put up those large numbers, it takes something special to be doing that, so I believe that there has been enough bad things said about Benik on this forum and he has done everything in his junior season to prove all the statements that were said wrong, so if theres nothing else nice to say about him, dont say anything at all!

Enough bashing on the kid. He plays in St. Francis. If they use such an easy breakout that creates effortless scoring chances, why doesn't everyone use it?

I mean the kid plays for St. Francis, it's their system, he's just doing his job. If he would have transferred, lets say to Elk River! what would everyone have said about him then?

Also, for people who said he plays no one, look who he plays with... nothing against St. Francis but its not like he's out there with studs to take some of the work off of him.

Forbort's real good but that guys crazy I don't think he's even eligible for this year's draft actually.

Top Juniors (no particular order):
Gardiner-Tonka
Prochno-Tonka
Taft-Edina
Benik-St. Francis
Herbert-Jefferson
Faust-Jefferson
Patterson-BSM
Meyers-BSM
Isackson-STA
Gaede-Woodbury
Hyland-Woodbury
Wolter-WBL
Lovick-Centennial
Alt-CDH
Skalbeck-Hopkins
Fons-Hopkins
Forbort-Duluth East
Connor Reilly-AHA
Fulton-Breck
Schmidt-SC Cathedral
Knochenmus-Roseau
Youso-I Falls
you are forgetting Brock Nelson, Brett Hebel? and Corrin from I-Falls And Connor O'Rielly is to small he isnt even a factor in this subject
is that a joke? size doesn't mean anything. Reilly has 56 points on the year and is tied for first on the team in scoring

no other teams use it because against the top teams you cant win when you dont play defense. I will prove this by saying this strategy didnt even work against a sub par princeton team in the playoffs...in fact they got stomped on. now benik is a very very good goal scorer but he cannot play both sides of the rink once i see that i will be impressed

Thank you!!! I didn't want to be the only one support Moose Lake players!! Michael Unzen is a stud!! I have more fun watching him play, then any other player I have ever watched.
Agreed top 30 material, I would also add Lane Noyes from North Branch to the list.

No it doesn't. Are u absolutely crazy. Crookston plays Warroad twice a year and you're telling me that you haven't notcied that Brock Nelson and Brett Hebel are a million times better. Both of them had over 50 points in 25 games. That speaks for itself doesnt it???????

Tyler Brackey for Albert Lea is a good foward with size speed and good vision. He may not be the Issacson or Taft but I have watched him pracrtice and he goes 100 percent and plays that way too. From what I have heard while watching them play Mayo he can sure golf too.Just my two cents.

Pat Noesen and Josh Mensing have done a great job in getting Red Wing to were they are today. They have help make Red Wing 1st line alone with sr. Blake Schammel very dangerous.

John Russel-Breck
Alex Gierke-Tartan
Ryan O'Shea-Eastview
Mike Ness-Woodbury
Mike Taffe-Providence
Taffe is dirty...he basically carried Providence Academy to a 4-0 loss against Breck and through two games in sections.

I hear so much about Forbort and granted, I've only seen him play a few times, but what is his game that makes him so much better?
I'm not trying to take anything away from him. Looking for real, quality answers.

Obviously Sven Larson is the best junior in the state. He has 1,000,000,000 goals and he is a physical beast. He is a middle aged man who likes to wait outside grade schools. He plays hockey on the weekends with 8 year olds so he can dangle about anyone. After high school a community college where he will get caught for dealing drugs and selling stolen cars. He is the best junior and is also a werewolf
