roll call chant?

Post by gopherhockey21 »

Does any high school in Minnesota do the roll call chant before games? I know they do that in bball, but I was wondering if any high schools do if for hockey.

You keep chanting the players' names that are starting until they recognize it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DImNRykGCG4&NR=1

The people in the right field stand at Yankee Stadium do this until each of the starters waves to them. Ive never seen it done at any high school event though.

Yeah, it's something I've only seen Yankee fans do.

It's not necessarily only at Yankee Stadium though. They Yankees travel so well that their fans do it in other places too. We got it going on the Metrodome a few years back...very fun. :D

We got it going at the volleyball state tournament a couple years ago during serves and they took our programs away so we couldn't know their names. I know this is totally off the topic of hockey but just thought I'd throw it out there :)
I get older they stay the same age, alright alright

At Elk River we used to do this to opposing players until they'd look at the student section and then we'd do a big "you suck". The Anoka and Champlin guys never seemed to catch on not to look!   Eason always got it really bad.
