Post predictions here. Should be a good hockey game. This is a great rivalry...Crookston hates EGF... and EGF hates Crookston!

Hate is kind of a strong word.
But it is a good rivalry.

Even though the Green Wave tanked at the end of the year, I still believe they will have too much for the PI-Rates.

Usel, et al will have a big night and atone themselves for the late season loss to Crookston, even though they are weak at defense and goaltending.

EGF 5 - 2 Crox.

By the end of the game, the PI-Rates will be holding out the:

Hey Elliott,

How are ya?

By the way, did you mean 5 -3 eng? or 4-2 eng? Or are you saying that EGF will make it 4-2 with an eng then Crox will score to make it 4-3?

Just askin'

Actually, it is gunna go like this.

EGF scores with about 3 minutes to go to make it 3 - 1.

Coach Bitts is a smart guy, thinking 4 - 1 , 5 - 1 , it don't matter, yeah just gotta win, so at about 2 minutes he starts waving the goalie in and gets his advantage with about 1:40 to go.

Crux gains the zone but a pass to the point comes off those rickety old board up in Warroad at a bad angle and Useldinger scoots out to the red line and puts it in with about 1 minute to go, 4 to 1, games over, fans leaving.

Face-off EGF gets it in deep. Yup, that's the game. But the young Bits flips it out over the EGF D and Crux forward comes in all alone and makes it 4 - 2. The EGF D man is not happy and swings his stick. Not meaning to hit anyone but catches a Crux player full in the face mask. After the goal is scored so its 2 minutes for the EGF Dman.

No big deal, 4 -2 with about 35 40 seconds.
Crux throws it in the O zone and a couple of passes back to the point, D throws it in high and hard, off an EGF back and then a leg and what do you know 4 - 3 with 25 seconds to go.

Crux gets the face-off, gets it in deep and out comes the goalie,

15, 14, 13 its counting down and pass and slap and in goes with about 8 seconds left on the clock. 4 - 4????
Wait the refs are talking, in comes the linesman, over to the goal judge, another few seconds with the refs, arms swing back and over each other.
No goal, off the skate of the Crux forward, redirected.

Some cheer, some boo, those that left early missed missed a lot of action.

Moral of the story,

You pay for a game, stay for the game.

And make sure you pull your goalie at the right time (whatever that is).

Wow.

Thanks Elliot.

Feel like I've already seen the whole game.

I'll just read the summary in the Herald in the morning to verify.

And, I'm doing well.

Thanks for askin"

Does anybody know who is leading section 8a with points this year? Sounds like Jake Useldinger has 26 goals and does anybody know if he is playing anywhere next year?
