Besse is over rated. He doesn't work hard.

are you serious? you must be a hopkins parent or player. Mork is good but the other two are just average.

Marshall Tema-Mpls Park
Tyler Broderson-MPLS Park
CJ Lachappelle-Como
Kendall Bolen-Como

These guys should get a pretty good look at the development camp.
Where are Tema and Broderson from? MPLS or SLP?

Well Hopkins team won't be bad next year they have Justin Quale at goalie
and two good forwards that did really well this year and last year I think they are Thie and Naas if that sounds right. I don't know, what do you guys think?
The names are correct, both are fairly talented players. Naas is going to be limited by his size. But I don't think they are playing at the same level as some of the other top first years.

Yes I agree, Naas is small but is pretty slippery and is good at avoiding checks. Thie and him work great together. I have watched them play three times over the past year and a half and every game each player had at least 1 assist to the other. Right now Hopkins has a very talented forward Holmquist, he has size and speed,he should play varsity next year. Those are just my observations what do others think?
I've seen Thie and Naas play together before, they do work very well together for sure. I just from what I've seen wouldn't go so far as to put them in the top first years in state. As far as Holmquist I cannot comment, I've not seen him play.

Yes I definately agree there are some better first years than them.

You honestly think that Hudson Fasching is a "junk" player? I think you're just biased towards Besse, because all those other players, especially Fasching, are not junk, they are very solid players.

You are nuts. Fasching is darn good and he goes to Apple Valley...which just won the district w/ EP,Edina,Jefferson, Mtka and Burnsville in it....largely due to him. He will be a major player on a very good AV Varsity next yr.

There are alot of 1st year Bantams that should be represented on this thread its just that they may not play for a highly ranked team or don't have the exposure like others do

there is a good 1st year bantam from luverne, he's a young goaltender but needs some size, i think if he can get size he'll be one of the top in the state for goaltending

If he's that good he should get noticed, but he better go play summer hockey somewhere and get out of Luvern.
