Lourdes 3
Faribault 2

Lourdes scores with 13 seconds left. Faribault had a break but had a kid hauled down, no call. Lourdes went the other way and scored a pretty goal. Tough break usually you don't call penalties on non scoring chances but in this case a penalty wasn't called and it led to a break by Lourdes.

Putrah came from the point down the slot and was tackled, that left the Falcons short a defenseman, tough break.

Shots 58 -33 in favor of Lourdes, Lourdes Power play was 42% on the season and they went 0-6 including one in overtime. Faribault had a bunch of chances in OT including a pipe shot. Andreas played very well, obviously, in goal and gave faribault a huge shot at the upset.

Really an incredible game, it will be tough for any of tommorrows to top this one.

Despite what people thought this was not even close. Mayo top two lines did not play the last 10 minutes. It could've easily been 10 to 12 goals but the DC goalie played well. Shots were 40-18 in favor of Mayo including only 5 in the 3rd when the studs rested. Mayo had goals from all 3 lines.
Is this the final?
Yes. It also easily could've been 10-12 goals, but the refs didn't like to call penalties.

way to go SSP! maybee someday you will grow up and hang with the big boys! I say this knowing alot of guys from (Waaaaay!)back in the day when SSP was a threat! I miss Skiles and the Horst brothers! Played against two of them and watched Skiles scores five goals against us and make a name for himself! That was SSP hockey! Cant wait for that to happen again. It will never happen with the A / AA system. But at leat St. Thomas can keep winning championships they don't deserve!!!!!!!!!!!! Cats out a the bag again! Way to have good confrence runs and then go play schools that don't really compair.St.Thomas! soft spot.
