I disagree with you, toothpick, for a couple of reasons. First, Roseau will be looking to avenge the 2 losses during the regular season and would like nothing better than to end the Spuds' season and make another state tourney appearance. They have plenty of motivation there.

Second, the Little Ralph has not been very kind to the Spuds over the last few years. I think Engelstad's ghost roams the building and puts a hex on the Spuds whenever they play there. That's why I say the Spuds will need everybody healthy and their best players will need to play their best. I think it'll be a close, nailbiter-type of game from start to finish, whether Altenbernd plays or not. But I like the Spuds' chances more if he does play and he's at 100%.

Rams 5
Spuds 4

I think that Moorhead is a very interesting team this year. They went to OT with Jefferson, tied Centennial, but did tie Tech. They are all over the place but I watched them play and they are not a team to be over looking. If they make it to St. Paul, they will cause problems for any team.

But I think this Roseau team has players with big game experience. They're starting to get rolling again and I think they will take this game.

I agree cityspudguy the little Ralph has a curse on the spuds!! I dont recal that Moorhead has every won a game at the little ralph? We've tied and lost but I don't think we ever won correct me if i'm wrong. Moorhead will need to come out flying and play a game with no mistakes made, but can they do it sure they can!! BUT BEST OF LUCK TO YOU BOYS!!

Lets Go Ram Hunting!! :D

Only chance Rouseau has here is if they get a couple Homer Refs working the game. Being it's in their backyard the players Dad from the Rams might get the nod to Ref. There's a VFW across the street from Ralph Jr. so all the Ram's fans will feel at home. Where's Green and White Fan? Maybe my post will wake him up. I need my sign again.

Moorhead has re-gained their confidence. They will find out about Alex today at practice. My bet is he is going to beg the doctors to let him play. This could be his last game ever and he wouldnt want to see it on the bench losing. So the rams got oliver back big whoop. Toothpick25, Spuds all the way. Moorhead will start off slow but when they get one in its lights out. Who cares the spuds tied tech. Roseau almost lost to them in the semi final game.

Hunting season opens up tomorrow and the Rams have been spotted.

bronco2828 you are such a ####! Get over it Roseau beat the beloved Broncos and you know what I have not been to a hockey game were the Refferees have been perfect. If you don't like it put the stripes on and lets see how you do as a referee.

As far as the roseau Moorehead game it will be close and the Rams will prevail.

I'm glad this thread is about Roseau and Moorhead, not the Broncos. Good luck to the Rams as they go for their 33rd section 8 title.

I'm a ####, 4 numbers. I am over it. Just stating facts here. I understand reffing is hard. My point is a Dad should never officiate a son's game, in any game. How long would I last in Roseau if I did put on the stripes and called a fair game? About as long as I would last in Warroad. Looks like I ruffled a few of the Rams wool. A sore spot, Eh.

Go Spuds.

I'm going 5-2 Spuddies. Marks is playin his best hockey of the season right now. But the key to the game i predict will be #10 Braden Rahman, he's really turning it on.

GO TO STATE SPUDS!! IT'S BEEN TOO LONG!!

Wednesday's game between Roseau and Moorhead can be heard on the Minnesota Sports Broadcast Network, found online at:

www.MnSportsNetwork.com

Fans have the unique opportunity to listen to BOTH the Roseau and Moorhead feeds of Wednesday's game, Brad "Z-Man" Zoeller and Tracy "Bobcat" Ostby broadcasting the game on MSBN Channel 2 for Border Broadcasting in Warroad, and Larry Knutson broadcasting the game on MSBN Channel 4 for Moorhead.

Log on and listen in to both feeds, regardless of whether you're a SPUD or a RAM!

A quote from Here'sYourSign2828, "I didn't want to get into the reffing problem as I don't like to use them as an excuse every time we lose like many people do." He then went on to complain about the refs. This was posted after the refs again jobbed the Falls against Hibbing.

Back to the game at hand. Both teams have played well at times and both teams have played poorly at times. I'm hoping the Rams add to their record number of appearances at the state tourney. Time will tell.

Moorhead is the better team. They have had a tough schedule, and that has givin them more experience. Roseau doesnt have enough to beat the Spuds. If Moorhead plays like they have been lately, points will be spread and it'll be fun to watch if your a Spud fan.

Moorhead - 4
Roseau - 2

If you're gonna post something, know how to spell it. Otherwise you're letting your intelligece level show. You don't need a degree in English, but at lease you should be "Smarter Than a 5th Grader" !

What does at "lease" mean? Is that the process of entering into a rental contract or did you mean "least". Of course we knew you meant least so stick to the thoughts behind the words unless you are perfect as well. Everyone is going to put the wrong word down or spell something wrong. Lay off with the personal attacks and focus on the point being shared. I really don't have a problem with you not liking the point but the attack doesn't serve your point very well.
