Should players and parents be allowed to nominate themselves on "Best of" Boards?

Absolutely, spending $10k on hockey annually entitles one to nominate

Best Of Board Suggestions

Post by conditioningsucks »

It's been a long hockey season so let's have a little fun and laughs. In honor of the "Best of" threads on these boards, let's see who's the most creative in putting together "Best of's" for consideration.

From 'Dump & Chase' we already have:
BEST TAPE JOB

From 'Hustle & Flow' we have:
BEST SLAPSHOT FOR 1999 AAA PLAYERS

I offer a few more:

"BEST VILLAGE IDIOT - By level (Bantams, Peewees, Squirts, Mites)"
"BEST 1st YEAR MITE"
and
"BEST BANTAM - CROSSOVERS"
"BEST BANTAM - STOPS & STARTS"

Alright folks. Have fun but don't be mean to any kids!

Alright Nobama, for you I have:

BEST FAUX ASTHMA ATTACK WHILE CONDITIONING

Seems everytime I am cheating by doing half the work of my teammates, there is always the same guy sitting on the bench claiming their asthma acts up (never acts up during small area games, scrimmages, or official games mind you). Not fair, Nobama, I at least am doing half of what the coach is asking! :^o

The light weight puck that is required at the mite level. Now a 5 year old can try to snipe the corner from the hashmarks. What happens when they get to squirts and the puck is now heavier, a whole new feel and transition that could have been accomplished in 4 years of mites.

I think the "blue puck" rule was made up within the past 5 years.

Best Pee Wee aged son of an NHL executive that changed teams midseason.

Can one player win more than one award, or does being named "Best Tape Job" prevent someone from garnering more hardware?

Here's a question...at what age does Dad stop taping the stick and let little Junior do it himself?
Be kind. Rewind.

elliot - From everything I have read over the past couple years you are on the MH board correct? Our association told the coaches here in the metro it was required by USAH/MH. I would say 4 out of 5 coaches think this blue puck is a joke, the thing bounces around like a freakin' superball.
