he retired because he didnt like the talent coming in? he retired because of the kids parent, thats why he came back last year and this year, no parents were complaining. You probably dont like hump because your son is one of the juniors on the team this year and you know that humphrey doesnt like any of them. You think they could have coached themselves? They had a bunch of headcases on the team the 2 years they went too state, humphrey kept them in line otherwise they would not have been anything. Why does every one give lechner so much credit for winning when he always has a great team to work with, but when tartan has a decent team, its because of the kids. That doesnt make sense.
Actually I don't have any kids at Tartan, just a little fyi and as for it was because of the "parents" if it was that bad that allllll of those "parents" were complaining either something probably wasn't being handled right, but out of curiosity which players are you referring to that were headcases. As for the lechner thing, when something isn't working against a team, he changes, humphrey on the other hand tries to ram the same crap that doesn't work down there throat, which is one of the reasons why Hill is successful
Tartan doesn't seem all that 'hot' to me in the 2009-10 season. They are currently 13-8-1.mnhockey73 wrote:Yes you can hold me to all of that, without a doubt. And yes upsets are possible, look at yesterday's games. Tartan will be better next year and the Juniors that played in yesterday's game will remember this feeling come next year, and will remember that with any team you play you always need to give 110%. Even if it is the 1st seed vs. 8th seed.wbmd wrote:Can we hold you to all of that?mnhockey73 wrote:
Tartan had an off game and Johnson capitalized on it. Tartan will be coming in hot next year folks, whether you like it or not. They will have their entire A Bantam team on Varsity, about 15-18 skaters. These guys had an unbelievable A Bantam year and will do the same next season just at the Varsity level.
Now I know some of you are saying, "well that was A Bantams, this is High School hockey." But the truth is, almost every kid who plays A Bantams their 2nd year at the Bantam level will be on the Varsity team their Senior year, look at other schools, its the truth. So what I'm saying is Tartan will be hot next year without a doubt. I'm not saying State Champs (though possible) but they will definitely make it to state. These boys have been playing on the same team since A Squirts and have more teamwork, commitment, leadership, discipline, and bonding than any other group of hockey players I've ever seen.
It should be great season for the Tartan Titans next year.
For one thing, upsets are always possible. Just ask Tartan today.
