Blandy, if you're going to be there you should send Goldy some updates. I could give you some from Mariucci in return if you would like.
That'll work.

MNCHAMPS wrote:WOW i dont know what to say little falls has alot of fire power meaning HANO you are right!! they have alot of decent players.. Alex is more skilled in every other position than LF besides when ben is on the ice
Alex is NOT more skilled than LF at ANY position. Enough said about that.

And it doesn't matter-----past history, strength of schedule, any of that.

Alex has a real good chance to knock them off.

It's one game-------all that matters is tonight.

From a completely unbiased source that has seen each team play at least five times this year...Alex definitely is better in the goaltending position...one who doesn't think that is completely off base with reality.

MNCHAMPS wrote:EZgoalscorer you are retarded if you think theses two teams have the same schedule seriously come on... and face it hano is the team. people say hemingway is overrated then it shouldnt be a match between hano and hemingway. Hemingway is the real deal but if your town thinks he is overrated it shouldnt be between them.
They play in the same conference you idiot which takes up roughly 70% of there schedule. I would say thats pretty similar.

I would also say Alex may be a better defensive team as a whole. Not by much, but Little Falls can get caught focusing on scoring goals to much and get beat on D. Offensive wise it is definately little falls

EZgoalscorer, MNCHAMPS has a point. Although the CLC is down this year Little Falls did play some of the better teams in the conference only once(Tech, Brainerd) where Alex played them twice. Non conference schedule little falls played teams like (virgina, greenway, cathedral, Prairie Center, DL, Prior Lake, Fairbult, New Prague) With virginia and cathdral being the only good teams. Where alex played (Roseau, Moorhead, Cathedral, Coon Rapids, Lake of the Woods, Northfield, and Bemidji) With Cathedral, Rosoeu, Moorhead (8AA champs), and bemidji all being good teams. The bottom line is that alex does have a harder schedule and a harder conference schedule for that matter. So it is a bad point for you to try and argue. Regardless of schedule now that thats out of the way it will be a great game tonight[/i]

Tonights Game.

Post by SCSUHOCKEYFAN15 »

Obviously I am biased but I hope Little Falls just puts the smack down tonight on Alex and leaves no doubt that they are the better team. They are a really good TEAM and I think they show that tonight.

If they have been reading this thread they should feel a bit disrespected and tonight they show it!

FLYERS 4 ALEX 2

They have beat two State participants already this year (SCC & Virginia). They are for real.

Wow! Coon Rapids has 2 wins this year. Northfield lost to both New Prague and Faribault. And Roseau might crack the top 20 and Moorhead might crack the top 10 in single A this year. Whoopie!

Not so sure it was well proven. Very debatable in my opinion. But, the fact is, LF is 2-0 against Alex. Next is 3-0 tonight. Good luck.

Couple questions, I am thinking of making the long hour drive to see this game....1. What time and where, I keep hearing MAC but have no idea where that is? 2. Is it going to be sold out where there is a good chance I won't get tickets, and if so what time should I try to be there?

Thanks

Moorhead and Roseau are good to have on the schedule but neither of those two are typical Moorhead Roseau teams. So I will agree that Alex schedule is tougher but the point I was making before was the fact that 2 or 3 tougher games is no excuse for there lack of scoring, Hano is a HUGE part of LFs offense but they still do have other player with quite a few points.

But thats enough argueing out of me. Should be an outstanding game tonight between 2 great teams, hopefully it is well officaited so the players can decide this contest. It has been another awesome year of high school hockey, this section finally has more then 1 legitimate team making tonights game that much more exciting, good luck to both teams.

I won't be able to attend the game tonight so I would appreciate it if someone would post some updates, thanks.

Mite Dad-
The average ps2 ratings for little falls non conference schedule is 91, the average rating for alex non conference schedule is 58. You can chew on that for a little while. Regardless should be a great game.

Just to let anyone know who is planning on going to this game, I would get there early or buy your ticket in advance. (Tickets went on Sale at 11am at the Mac, at around 1 o'clock they had already sold over 500 tickets. They also will only be allowing 2000 tickets sold (1800 seated / 200 standing ) So get there early or you might not get in!

Alright, you've convinced me. Alex wins this one handily based on their far superior schedule and there many more skilled players.
