Where should Little Falls be ranked?

Post by fresh25 »

Little Falls had an undefeated season, some will say it is because of a weak schedule or others will say that they earned it from pure talent. So what seed should they get?

I would like to see them be ranked #1 then i would be able to make it to the game. I think it comes down to this, Which team should be playing in primetime so that there will be a bigger crowd in the stands and watching at home? STA has the championship from last year and LF has the undefeated season. Which team will draw the bigger primetime crowd? We will have to wait and see.

I think they should definitely be number one. Some can say that they didn't play the hardest schedule but when they did play a tough team they still won. They beat Alex three times and Cathedral once. It would have been easy for them to slip up but they didn't. Besides, tough schedule or not, when your undefeated everyone tries to take you out and so far no one has.

seeded or unseeded they still have to play the best to be the best. But I am hoping that they will get the #2. I don't think the cities will let STA not get the #1.

Very true, but, I think Little Falls has been dissapointed with the seedings the last 2 years by needing to play the 1 seed right away. I think this dissapointment made them feel like the world was on their shoulders.

LF for 3rd seed or higher. And to all who says all they hear is Hanow, Hanow, Hanow, it's because nobody really cares about the other players but, guess what, not team can win 28 games in a row alone. He has so much talent on his line that it amazes me that they get overlooked, it's a true shame.

They'll be 2nd or 3rd. Either way is fine. Really doesn't matter when you look at the big picture.

very true, the big thing is to get seeded. at least get a feel for the tournament before you try and slay a STA.

if a team wins 28 games in a row especially when you throw in alex 3 times the virginia game and cathedral, you deserve to be the #1 seed

Actually the big thing is to win 3 games. I feel that Little Falls is good enough this year that it really doesn't matter who they play, and if it does matter, maybe they shouldn't be champions.

However, they obviously are NOT playing at tip top form right now for some reason. Seems to me that the past few years they have actually whent over the top in the post season, not this year. So maybe if they get seeded they can play a lesser team and that can bouey them to the championship. I know, my attitude has changed, but I expected like one or two goals given up in the whole section tourney, with the Flyers putting up 10 in each of their first two games, (even against my Otters), but they have struggled comparatively.

I would say they had an undeniably week schedule. They do not deserve number 1 ranking.

I'm glad that we can all talk trash and say that an unbeaten team has a weak schedule but when it all comes down to it none of us can really do anything unless we play for these teams. Also, I'd say that someone who can't use the correct weak here has no reason to be talking. Have you even ever watched LF play this year?

If history tells us anything, it doesn't matter where Little Falls is ranked, they WILL get the hardest first round game.

I hope Little Falls gets the #1 Seed. It would be nice to see someone else up there.

Also if you want to hear another name instead of Hano, here's one for you Michael Sperl. The reason they've got the perfection so far isn't all because of Hano but it's that this kid hasn't fallen when faced with an intense amount of pressure.

Although their schedule is relatively easy compared to STA's you can't deny perfection.

Little Falls grabs the #1 Seed, STA sits in the back and takes #2.

What else can the players do other than show up and win every game that they play in? They couldnt have done anything to be better

I would not agree that they should get the number one seed , if you look at Roseau last year they were undefeated returning champs coming into the tourney and history tells us they were not the best team at the excel last year
I mean its great and all to give that team that has an amazing year a rank but #1 is a little to much, STA proves themselves every night they play.. LF proved themselves only a few times this year when they played teams like Alexandria and Cathedra

Yeah but Roseau got beat last year by Hill Murray. The only two teams this year in class A that are getting mentioned are STA and LF. Last year, in class AA it was Roseau and Edina. I didn't even see Hill Murray coming in and beating them. I dont know who else expected that. I don't know how to explain my train of thought, sorry. but i dont like the roseau argument

I think they will put STA as the one seed(if they make it), just because they are the defending champs and just as good as Little Falls. I just think it would be weird to see Little falls ranked 1 after them being the underdogs the last cpl years.

Last night showed us that simply winning your games doesn't make you the best. They have a good squad and I sincerely hope they make it past the first round, but with who they've played they don't deserve the top seed.
