Amen, the camerawork couldnt get much worse. In the Jefferson/Edina game the camera kept zooming into bare spots of ice and then just swerving back and forth looking for the puckbulldog14411 wrote:4-2 fire the whole crew from myfoxhockey.com i know it's free but i've done better camera work and commentary

I was only able to watch the 3rd period (joys of keeping the girlfriend happy) and was sick of watching/listening to these guys ramble about nothing related to the game to the point where I am thinking about calling directly to complain in addition to my comment in the comments box. I agree - I've never seen Mariucci so packed. They were 2-3 deep in standing room rows. I don't think they stopped selling tickets as people were coming in at the beginning of the EP/Tonka game. About 30 seconds later?? they are behind the Cretin goal ..1 AV guy and 1 Cretin guy...as the Cretin guy is dishing a clear out ..he calls AV for hooking or something behind the net. Seriously you can't make it up that he called whatever he called in OT in the region final behind the Cretin net. Cretin went all the way down the ice on the delayed penalty that's how much the play was/ was not effected. Terrible call...no other way to put it. AV guy is P*ssed going to the box and slams the door and the ref gives him 2 + 2. There was plenty of people who didn't even know the ref gave out 4 minutes. Unreal. Great game. Ref got in the way. No reason for that call nor the call w/ 5 minutes left...clueless is what they are.

I was sittin right there, CDH D got the puck near the backboards, he was tripped and the puck went to a CDH player, he carried it into the AV zone. By the way AV just came off PP in OT and had ZERO shots on goal. I thought officiating was good (except for the dreaded intent to blow the whistle rule which costed CDH a goal !!! ) Great game---hats off to both teams---very very physical !Hoops wrote:Valid opinion. Tripped? You mean fell down don't you. Oh well I'd think you would agree it shouldn't have been called. I did mention the AV OT PP...trip at center ice on the go....? The call at the 5 minute mark left in reg was horrible. 3 penalties late 2 on AV 1 on Cretin.. a good ref wouldn't have called any of them. The PP was definitely a Cretin advantage so the ref getting whistle happy didn't help...except for the disallowed goal! You are right though great game and very phsical. Fun game...two teams grinding it out.
