Where was "all the preseason hype?"

Your criticism is rather thin and unpersuasive.
If you're going to criticize a team for failing to live up to "preseason hype," perhaps you should base it on "hype" by known and knowledgeable hockey observers, such as Kevin Gorg, Doug Johnson of "Let's Play Hockey," etc., not anonymous posters to an online bulletin board, many of whom are still in high school.
Wbmd,
Gumper brings forth a good point, one that I will expound upon. There is a lot of bashing on this board. But, judging by the grammar and writing style, it is obvious that most of the negative attacks are posted by kids. Hopefully, they will outgrow this. You, on the other hand, are obviously an adult. Yet, you routinely bash a bunch of 16 to 18 year old kids who are doing their best to have fun and achieve some level of success playing the game they love. For an adult to repeatedly demean teenagers is unseemly.
If you can't say something nice, don't say anything.

The facts are that this team finished about where they should have. This team is not that talented, I have been saying it all year. WBMD hasn't wanted to hear that because he can't bash the players and the coaches when they actually finish better than expected. If this team gets to a section semi and loses to Hill it is a good year. If they somehow beat Hill and lose in the section final a very good year. If they get to state it is a fantastic year. That is reality for this team. Hill still has more talent than this WB team, no question about it. If Hill hadn't lost some players along the way it wouldn't be a discussion, Hill would have run away with this section.

That is true - but they DID lose 4 key players, which is why I think WBL will come out of this section.
Can we get past MV in the quarters and beat hill in the semis?? I definitely think so!

can they win the conference over woodbury/CDH?
with at least 5 returning starters(putney, swanson, lowell, collete and hoffman), this team is looking solid. but will the horrible coaching of sager come back to haunt them?
