AHA Schedule
Re: aha
I will answer the last three questions posted:
I talked to Brutlag last night and he said about two more weeks, if the doctor agrees with that I donot know. Yes it will be nice when he gets back...
The young Matson will get plenty of playing time. Trebil plays his third line all the time and i this conference his fourth line also gets playing time. Young Matson looked ok last night, he has good size and speed. He will be fun to watch.
SSM has played AHA three times in the past. We lost the first time to Sid Crosby when Frazee turned his break-away against the back wall. The next year we went down to SSM and got throttled, yes throttled. Excuses are many, but the truth was it was an ugly game. Many sick players and Jack Hillen was away playing in the World Junior tourney. Last year it took everything that SSm had to beat the mighty Angels, OT. Probably one of the more entertaining games I have watched. This year on the new ice at SSM, I predict the STARS will be shining brightly over Faribault and we will prevail. Finally, hopefully.... Anyway it should be fun.
________________________________
Academy of Holy Angels
2005 GIRLS STATE CHAMPS!
2002 & 2005 BOYS STATE CHAMPS!!
GO STARS!!

Re: aha
Does anyone know what the score was of there game against Hutchinson last night.

Score
Geez what a game! Total and complete dominance! Ice was great! Zamman good job! 8-0 victory... perfect, just what Slappy would have predicted. Shots incredible 50-5! Entire team was ready to play. Simply amazing, how could a team like this even want to play at this level? I'm a true believer now. WOW! I feel so proud of this team I can hardly stand it. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/grin.gif ALT=" >D">

SSM
I was trying to point out an opposition to what people had been saying. Earlier people were posting things such as AHA not having a tough schedule and starting late, they won't do that well and such. Well, SSM is a team not too many can compete with, and well, AHA can. And this year after only losing three seniors, I'm aware of, they should do well. Wish I could see it.

Late start
The late season start would also make it tough for anyone being cut from the team to hook up anywhere else and play against AHA....

Re: Late start
That almost makes sense. Except for the fact that excluding football players they make cuts the same time as everyother team in the state.

Re: Late start
What kind of a comment is this:
"The late season start would also make it tough for anyone being cut from the team to hook up anywhere else and play against AHA.... "

What team will be able to take a player who transfers after the season starts and put them on their team?

Thanks for the compliment on the ice, too bad I was not working last night. I will say this, I did train two of the three that drove last night....
________________________________
Academy of Holy Angels
2005 GIRLS STATE CHAMPS!
2002 & 2005 BOYS STATE CHAMPS!!
GO STARS!!
