I was lucky enough to be on the MSHSL site looking at the brackets as it started to be posted! Caught the first two matchups and then had to refresh to get the rest.

Tartan should have been in there in place of Hill Murray.

Should be a fun state tourney. Hopefully it's worth the 40 bucks I'm going to pay to watch it online.

Perhaps, but the MSHSL has this funny policy in place .

You actually have to win a playoff game...actually, three playoff games, to get to state.

Three more wins and they would have been in there.

Wrong seedings

Sorry, Ep is the #1 rating team in the state. How are they are a #2 seed in the State is a love feast with MyFox Hockey. Edina did beat them two times by 1 goal. Once in OT. However, EP did beat common teams like Tonka two times, and beat Hopkins that Edina has split with. We all know Jefferson didn't play a high level games that they should have played a tougher schedule to get a #1 ranking. Edina will lose to East and set up an EP versus East 2AA game.

In case you were wondering, My Fox Hockey does not determine, or have any part, in the seeding process. The coaches do.

Not being affiliated with any of these teams, I have no problem with the way the seeds turned out.

Absolutely. In fact, I've always wondered why they even play the championship game when they can just look at common opponents and let that determine the champion. I don't know why MyFox Hockey hasn't already done this.

What a love feast.
