Warroad is definitely favored on paper and has probably played the tougher all around schedule, but Hutchinson finished 4th in the Missota, has experience against good opponents, and will be skating as hard as they can. Can the Tigers play the game of their life and upset the Warriors?

Kevin Garnett did say, "ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE!"HShockeywatcher wrote:It is lucky in that it puts them on the winner's bracket (probably) but it won't prepare them for their next opponent very well. Last year they were only able to beat Litchfield 4-0. Anything is possible.
It's funny. As I was walking out of the Gardens, a guy said that Warroad was going to be one and done at state. I told him not to worry because they would get Hutchinson in the first round.

Hutch - 1
Warroad - 6

ON paper, Warroad should win.
But if they go on with the attitude that they got a first-round bye, they will be in trouble.
Hutchinson has not played a lot of top-flight teams this year. Six of their seven losses were in the Missota. They split with New Prague Thanks to a great goaltending performance in the first game, lost twice to Red Wing, including a 2-0 game on Feb. 19, and lost twice to Holy Angels - Those are the only three teams to have beaten them by five goals or more.
A hot goalie can take a team a long way in the tournament.

Now that I have been called a "fv--er" Warroad 10 Hutchinson 0 Hutchinson with its minnhock ranking of 67 beat the powerhouse New Ulm ranked 75, if section 3A was balanced like the rest, they would rarely make it to state, Just like the Lakeville teams block weaker southern teams in 1AA often, Put a team like Orono ranked 47 back in 3A and then listen to the Hutch fans cry because they cant make it to state anymore!
Basketball, a great game for guys who cant play Hockey
