LOL!
I didn't see the Red vs Blaine game but Princeton vs Cen Black was a very good game! The refs really let the girls just play - SOG were Princeton 29; Cen Black 16. Princeton scored twice in the 1st and 2nd and Cen Black scored in the last 5 minutes.
Onto Centennial Red at 10am tomorrow at Fogerty!

Olympic region updates....................... Roseau back doored both Alex and P. Lakes for the 2nd seed. Crazy! 0-2 going into their last game and needed to win by two. They win 6-3 to send both Alec and P. Lakes home and get P. Rapids in the money game tommorrow. Wow! Proctor beat P. Lakes in ot to win their side of bracket. They play Hibbing at 2:00 to get to the big dance. Great day of hockey!! Proctor looses one of thier big guns to an injury. Ouch!! things wil be interesting in the a.m.!!!!
HOW DID THE ONLY TRUE B team in the tourny almost make it to State? OUTSTANDING Roseau.JohnnyBuck wrote:Olympic region updates....................... Roseau back doored both Alex and P. Obviously they had one good game out of four or I guess on the flip side, Alex maybe had a bad game ......... your choice. The TRUE B team jabs are really getting old. Just be happy Roseau has enough kids to support an A and B team. Some small towns aren't quite so lucky and isn't it refreshing that at least a kid is provided an opportunity. My daughter never had that opportunity to play until we moved - wasn't a hockey team within 100 miles of us.

I think it is fair to say that you may be talking about the bigger associations fielding an A team before a B team. Most smaller associations can barely get enough for a team and when they do they have to pick up younger players. Can you tell me it would be fair to put a U10 first year player on an A team. I don't think so. I agree with Go Gophers your TRUE B team jabs are getting old outofsite!
