It looks like the opportunity to build your resume, graduate from a top notch high school, and your Ivy league scholarship won out over getting a couple bucks towards a cow college education won out.

Funny thing, Warroad had a very talented goalie who was recruited by a Canadian private school. I just can't help but wonder if she was still on the team if they would have won or not. But it just goes to show that Warroad has some players taken away too.

All I have to say is to all the parents on this site: grow up. Let the kids play hockey. If a family moves that is there own business and you don't have any right to judge them or the town they move too. No where in the rules does it say "no one is allowed to move because that would be destroying tradition." No. You guys are the ones causing the controversy. Everyone just drop it and maybe if you spent less time on these god damn boards and more time encouraging your daughters, maybe even skating or training with them, they could make it to state next year.
