I think this topic is reather a good topic just because it shows the distaste many have with private schools. They aren't well liked, and this proves it.
And yes, I do understand that private schools have to work awfully hard and put in a great deal of time to getto where they are..but you can't tell me privates have never recruited. Go Public.

Well, to be fair, of the 150-some high school hockey teams in this state, how many of them are private? Of course a poll is going to turn out like this.GopherPuck15 wrote:I think this topic is reather a good topic just because it shows the distaste many have with private schools. People don't hate private schools because they're private schools, they hate them because some of them are good at hockey.
If I had a dollar for every time this topic came up on the bored...

I voted public. Of the choices, it is the best one available. Voting private, with the phrasing and options available, would be quite arrogant and totally wrong. Very few who attend private schools dislike public schools in any way. Many who attend public schools dislike private schools.
GopherPuck15,
if it were really for why you say, the schools that do that would simply be looked down on, not private schools as a whole. We all know Providence Academy isn't being targeted here...
If only the people on this board spent as much time trying to fix issues with the public school system as they spend bashing private schools...
