MAHA allows 14U teams to play a certain number of JV teams each year. Since the high school team does not have a JV, some teams that do, do not want to schedule the Rams unless their JV can play also. The !4U has accomodated that a few times this year. For the most part, the JV's are poorer than most of the 14U teams that they play.

Not always true with the larger programs in the metro area.Green and White Fan wrote:MAHA allows 14U teams to play a certain number of JV teams each year. Tough loss for the U14A Rams against Minnetonka in the state tournament....it was sad someone had to lose!

Minnetonka U14A
Some Minnetonka parents suspect the next stop for several of their U14A team will be straight to varsity which might explain Roseau's loss to their U14A team as well as their victory over their JV team.
