WCHA First Round - (9) Alaska Anchorage @ (2) Denver

Post by Lucia4President »

The Denver Pioneers (20-10-5) will play host to the Seawolves from Alaska Anchorage (14-15-5) this weekend in Denver. The Pioneers finished their season with a tie against rival Colorado College, while AA swept Minnesota Duluth at the DECC in Duluth. These teams split earlier in the season.

Who wins the first round series, and why?

My pick is Denver in three.

I say SeaWolves in 3. Wolves played well against the gophs early on in the season. I think they got what it takes to pull off an upset here.
