Both teams looked sharp in their openers. Warroad was a little tougher to gauge just because they played hutch, but their first line, especially nelson looked great. It will come down to Warroad's first line against cathedrals D and this will be a fun game to watch.

Both team's looked really good. I guess when you playing Hutch most team's look good. Warroad seemed to move the puck well and SCC got by a pretty good Zephyrs team.

I'm sorry to say, but I do not think Warroad looked that great today. Yes they put big points up on the board, but they didn't play how I've seen them play before.

Warroad by a couple (4-2). Playing on a neutral site. Both teams have a day off so should not be tired, no long bus rides. I think either team would win the final. Warroad moves the puck better than any team down there. Both teams great on defense. Should be fun.

This should be a great game. It was hard for Warroad to look good with how the refs treated them today. All it took for the refs to start doing their job was Hutch to try and take off Nelson's head. I did catch the last period of the SCC game and they loooked good too. I have to go with warroad 3-2. Should be fun to watch

If Warroad was not haulted by the refs today, the game would have been way out of hand.

SCC looked pretty good today, considering the Zephyrs did not play well.

im a say Warroad 4 SCC 1 Nelson gets the hatty!!

I would agree that Warroad didn't play their best hockey today. It is tough to play your hockey when there is such a vast difference in skill and pace. Teams typically play their best against teams of equal or more skill. That being said this will be a great game. I was very impressed with SCC today and now completely understand why they have been rated so high all year.

Should be a great match up. I've gotta give the edge to Warroad if they are on their game.

Warrord did not look good yesterday. I'm not a SCC fan, I don't see Warrord winning tomorrow.

Sticking with my pre-tourney prediction 4-2 SCC.
Might actually be closer to 5-1, but what the hey SCC goes to the finals anyway.

Very good game

Post by MNhockey9711 »

I think this is going to be the best game of the class A tourny. SCC and Warroad have close to equal talent and SCC may have a slight edge in goal, however I got to believe Warroad is going to pull this one out. 4-3 in ot. SCC won 4-2 with an empty netter the first game in St. Cloud, here is were it all counts and I think Warroads going to come out and play much better this time around

should be good game, think warroads goaltending is questionable, both have great offense but think scc defense is the difference maker. warroads goaltending lets in to many soft ones this game.

The way SCC played at the end of the year and through sections it's hard to pick against them.  For what it's worth they were the hottest team coming into the tournament.SCC - 4Warroad - 2
