Edina-Moorhead
Credit to Moorhead for following the formula. We've known that Edina can be beaten and we even know how.
* Get ahead on Edina. The Hornets will go to their top two lines and wear themselves out.
* Capitalize on your chances. They have two PP goals and a 3rd on a great forecheck just moments after Edina got back to even strength.
* Goaltending. Hasn't been an issue yet because Edina hasn't mustered a ton of great chances. If Marks stonewalls it will be just like Edina's last several losses. (Hill twice, Tonka, Centennial, Hopkins.)
* Big players step up. I am very impressed by Trent Johnson.
Time is on Moorhead's side. If they can get through a few shifts without giving up a goal the pressure builds. If they score next it is all but over.

Be kind. Rewind.

Not so embarrassing now, eh?NyQuil DayQuil Pop Tart wrote:Its comments like these that end up embarrassing the person and the city in retrospect. I know your excited at the possibility of knocking off the #1 seed in front of many people, but please control your emotions before you make a mistake, I would hate to see you get embarrassed in an online forum with as much prestige as this, thank you.mhd_hockey wrote:MOORHEAD - 3 OT.![]()
EDINA- 2
This is it boys. This is our year. Yess, we all know Edina is a ranked number one, and it will be a tough defete. But i believe deep down that EVERYONE in the stadium is going to be taken back at the game we bring to the X on thursday. All of you are counting moorhead out right away because Edina has the impression on everyone that no matter who they play, they will slaughter. Not going to happen this time. This will be a close, intense game. And our student section will be BRINGINN THE HEAT. Marks is at his best game, and he's not going to let much go by him. All of you Edina fans, i'd be getting a little nervous. These boys have been working their asses off to get here. And they're sure as hell are not letting it go down the drain like we have in the past. This is it. BRING IT ON EDINA!
