Alex Mclean? cade fairchild? rumors?

ive heard from plenty of my executive branch colleagues that alex mclean from duluth east has been approached by golden gopher scouts over the past week.. i know for a fact Don Lucia will be watching the tonight.. what are the chances Alex will shine and pick up this spot on the minnesota team.. even with word about the scouting at the single a games last night, it will be very interesting to see what kind of pressure this kid will face tonight..as we know former duluth east state player cade fairchild also was greeted by Don lucia and other gopher partners at his state tournament games.. thats why he is playing for them now.. please let me know what you all think? and what have you heard?

I read in a interview with cade that he always wanted to play for the gophs. Does Alex want to play with the gophs?He could always turn down lucias offer. I dont think it will hurt lucias feelings to badly.Also, He always could follow his teammate derek forbort and play with the sioux.

Alex is a nice player but Cade had the accolades before he played in the State tournament. Alex has always been in that next tier. I don't think ths gophers are that desperate they would take a flyer on him. Who do you think they are ST Cloud?

The word is that there were scouts there.

With Lucia located in Mpls, chances are he'll be at the games, Duh.

McLean - a Gopher recruit? I'd be surprised.

I said the same thing before i saw him play tonight, but he impressed me. Im not sure about gopher level but he is big, physical, can pass, and is smart with the puck.
