Cretin ties it up late in the second period.

Anybody else notice that they faceoffs after cretin's first goal and moorheads second goal was not at center ice but instead was dropped in the zone? Why is this, or is it because the tv was just behind on showing the faceoff at center? Havent noticed it any other time this week.

The TV was too busy doing replays of the goal (which they did like 4 or 5 times). They were simply behind, assuming Moorhead just shot it in on net and Cretin's goalie froze it.

Before anyone comes on here and complains about it, I'm rooting for Moorhead, and I'll admit that 2nd goal was offside. Refs dropped the ball I think.

Anybody notice how far offsides Moorhead was before they made that second goal?

Apparently missed my post, haha.

The announcers didn't even mention it, but I'm assuming they didn't want to bring attention to a big referee mistake. But you can't ask much from a guy who pronounces Moorhead Moo-er-head

This game has been brutal to watch. Sloppy, sloppy, sloppy. Did I say sloppy? Lou Nanne is about to have an aneurism watching these two gum each other into submission. Curses on Duluth East and Edina -- you're both responsible.

East would feel your pain but they have enough of their own right now.

East had a great year - nothing to hang their heads about. Outplayed CDH last night but ran into a hot goalie. Nanne is right that if Moorhead and CDH played last night like they are tonight, they would've lost.

Nice call.

I thought that too, but they ran a slo-mo on it later & he had 1 foot on the line when the puck crossed.

I'm curious about this play myself. I was at the game and didn't get to see a replay. Well one on the jumbo tron, but he looked way off sides to me. Will anyone 2nd this statement?

Check your homer status at the door Spud.

The only part that wasn't in the offensive zone was his stick blade that drug the puck in.

Also, don't forget to bring your camera tomorrow. The Spuds will look good with the red medals around their necks.

This was the worst hockey game played in this tourney. CDH has only managed like 25 shots in 2 games and M'Head was really sloppy.

I didnt see the replay on TV, but from what I saw it looked offsides. Not quite sure how the refs missed it either. Perhaps they are making up for missed calls against the spuds in previous years at the state tourney  Did anynone DVR the game? Perhaps they could comment? Parents were able to listen to the game in Florida, too bad they lost the internet signal with 2min left.
Thats Mr. Potatohead to you!
