Obviously no Edina boys. Maybe Bjugstad, Leddy, Rau?, I'm still not sure though, tournament is not over.

Perhaps we'll have an idea, like, after the tournament? Just an idea. :P

Obviously? Everson had a hat trick today and Baker had two goals yesterday. If they produce in the Hill-Murray game either could make it.

Bjugstad
Trent Johnson
Leddy
Tardy

Hanowski in A

They traditional do not put players from the consolation bracket on the All-Tournament team. Lee has 9 pts, Everson 7, Baker and Gaarder 5 or 6 I believe.

That is the Class A All-Tournament team. The AA will be announced after the championship. If they players are worthy of all-tournament they will make the team. I would say there will probably be at least one from Edina on the team.

I wonder why the Edina boys didn't show for the all-tournament team.

...rude in my opinion. It's an honor. I'm sure there are plenty of others who would have loved to represent their community.

This is one situation where I am embarrassed to be from Edina.

It disappointed that Edina boys didn't show up. I don't think the Cretin boys showed up either.

Trent Johnson actually, and yes well deserved. I called it during the game, just knowing everything that he has had to go through. There is a nice article on the MIAC website about his brother Cory, a formed Spud himself who was runner-up in the '05 tournament. Though the article is about his brother, the part about family gives you an idea of the type of adversity they talked about in the presentation of the award. It is a well deserved award for Trent!

Is Rau the only sophomore? That doesn't happen often, but he is deserving of this.

Congrats to Trent but Nick Leddy should have won this award. He outworked every player in this tournament and anyone that saw him play all three games knows that. If anyone thinks Herb Brooks wouldn't pick Nick Leddy to be on his team out of anyone else in the tournament needs to open their eyes. Leddy deserves this award.

More than likely Edina and Cretin's players weren't there because the ballots are turned in after the 1st period of the championship game.

Not all teams have their players stick around - even if it's for the state championship game.

The award isn't for basically the top player in the tournament.
