shots

Post by ezhcky3169 »

a scout that was at the game told me that the shots were 44 18 and these are much more accurate compared to what the officail ones were these counted every little shot down low and it reflected how the game went

Re: PIPES

Post by ezhcky3169 »

as for the pipes hit elk river didnt not hit a single pipe in the entire game and their first goal should have been disallowed for kicking i was right there and itw as not even close to legal the refing was terrible but for the pipes not a single pipe was hit unlesss you count martell taking out the net and smashing his face into the pipe hiting the pipe. I am garunteeing an anoka win at anoka the second half siebert got lucky and it wont happen with out there hometown refs they have up there in hickville

Ok so the pipe that the deffensman #11 hit doesnt count? If you think seibert got luckey, we will just have to see how he does next time against elk river, because as you may know by now elk river only gets better towards the end of the year. I would say Next game elk river wins by 5.

Re-match on 1/21

Post by BobbyOrrfan »

The rematch on Jan 21 on Anoka's regulation size ice sheet should also feature the return of James Campbell, a 6'4'' 200lb sophomore D who played Elite2 this fall...he has an incredibly large wing span, like Martel's, and uses it very well when covering down low...something Anoka did poorly in the 1st meeting...especially against Peterson.

ER is the favorite, but Anoka matches up better with ER on the smaller rink, where ER's small forwards (from their 2nd line) will have less room to operate..no doubt ER will be better in Jan...so will Anoka.

hickville

Post by ELKSHOCKEY »

hey ezhcky, i don't know if you know your geography but ER is west of anoka, not north of it. so if we were up in hickville that means anoka is right up with us. As far as Martell goes you can rip on him all you want. When it comes down to it we have him and you don't.

siebert

Post by ezhcky3169 »

well it doesnt really matter how lucky siebert got cause it was proven last year that anoka and elk river have the 2 best goalies in the confrence because both eason and siebert made the 17s festival but there was one minor difference between the 2 eason allowed the least amount of goals for all of the goalies and siebert went home a little early. so that proves who the better goalie is

Seibert can atleast deal with the fans. Eason started breaking down once the fans let him have it after the the 2 goals that were about half a minute apart. Eason is a tweak and can't hack it. He isn't even in Seibert's league.

eason had a shut out second i dont think the fans had anything to do with it and he told me in the locker room after the game all the fans did was pump him up so we will see how siebert does in anoka buddy

no matter how good you think eason is, you cant change the fact that seibert got the W, and eason got the L. Be ready to getted thrashed the next time ER plays Anoka cause we only get better as the season goes on.

i will give seibert that. he did get the w. but eason played solid and seibert got a little lucky is all i said er was the better team and i have a correction for a previous comment i said eason had a shut out in the second not the game but eason did shut out hastings on 29 shots in his first game and about 10 of those 29 were from the highly touted jerad stewart who i felt was a little over rated but i congradulate er on the victory but i am just saying anoka will be much better on home ice after all they have only won once at er since the new er rink was built and that was last year. its a tough place to play the fans are great but the next game will be much closer im guessing a 4-3 victory anoka

seibert

Post by stickplayer »

How did seibert get lucky ez. he made every save he had to, to get the win and easson didnt do that. but if bobbing your head when the fans are seiving you isnt getting into your head than im not sure what is.
