glory days gone?
Jugslover... I would like to re-kindle the old glory days of Scotty Bjugstad and watching the Knights in those ugly Cooperalls as well. With St. Francis doing better and Spring Lake Park it would tough to crack the top four in the North Suburban, let alone make a run at the state tourney. Good luck though. It really would be nice to see. I like you am sick of seeing the same teams in the big tourney every year.

I see Irondale sitting at 6th in the north suburban conference, which everybody is always talking about how weak of a conference it is. The team will be very average, and all of the players that you listed are very average especially Gjere and Bortot. It doesn't matter how big Gjere is, fact of the matter is that he can't skate, and Bortot is terribly inconsistent.

Besides the first contest, SLP owned Irondale both two regular season games. Im not sure how many kids irondale is losing but, SLP loses two players. And have a lot of good returning players. They are going to be very talented defensively. Sorry JUGlover but you guys will probably finish worse than you did this year. Which was to be honest horrible. Good Luck though.JUGlover wrote:um nope they lost like ton of seniors so probly i was thinking
SPRING LAKE PARK, i bet the rest of the conference would agree also.

For a team that is no good, they can claim as recent grads: a final four Bemidji beavers captain, an Army hockey captain, NAHL North Iowa player, recently graduated MSU-Mankato player, future UofM football lineman, UofM track miler...
Not so bad for kids from a program labeled, "they arent good". Players do come out of there.

It takes more than one or two good players to make a "good" team.glovesoff wrote:For a team that is no good, they can claim as recent grads: a final four Bemidji beavers captain, an Army hockey captain, NAHL North Iowa player, recently graduated MSU-Mankato player, future UofM football lineman, UofM track miler...
