Michael Maroney, a junior defensemen from St Francis, was involved in a serious car accident on Thursday the 4th of June. He was airlifted to the hospital and is currently in a coma as they try to determine the extent of his brain injuries. My children have had the privledge of knowing Mike as a player and a friend. He and his family are 1st class people and I know they could use all the prayers and good thoughts available as they move forward. Prayers go out to you
Nobody ever wishes things like this to happen. But the strength of a community and the caring of close friends, mixed with prayers from all, can really make a difference in an individual's will. Keep fighting Michael and God bless!
