It's interesting and should be noted the guys going to Ann Arbor can't be invited to these teams...gives more kids a chance at International play...which they will get in Mich anyways.

Overseas play

Do the guys on these teams pay their own way? I know they had to pay for the Select tryouts all the way to New York, just wondering if they still pay their way once they make the team or if USA Hockey takes over.

Does anyone know if Zane Gothberg is playing his senior year or moving on to the USHL?

A july 17 article in the Grand Forks herald stated that Zane had commited to UND and had not decided yet on the USHL or High School. the article said that he would most likely not go to UND until 2012.

It's about time that Kyle Rau got the recognition he deserves. Many other '92s have received undue credit for too long. Look no further than the success of Rau's teams over the past several years. Tonka, BSM, Jefferson and even HM will be board darlings again this year while Rau and the Eagles will simply do it again without fanfare.
