You might last the first season, you might last the first tournament, you might only last the Parents meeting, but there is a well known summer hockey code...it is usually the Parents that get cut, not the kids.

Maybe because alot of coaches kids are treated SPECIAL and the other players have no say. But as a parent you pay for a service and if you feel you are not getting what you paid for you may say what you please!! I know this post was directed in my direction. That is your code not mine. As my moniker says bring it dont sing it!!!!

Based on the language of your definition, I would argue that "unique" is absolute. "sole example" "solitary in type" "having no like or equal".

My question to you: Why assume I am picking on Legacy?

Based on what has been offered so far they aren't unique, so I am just wondering what about their program qualifies that description.

If they claim to be like no other AAA program, which by definition, they are doing by claiming to be unique, then I am wondering how because I am interested in checking out the program.

For example, what are they doing that no other AAA team is doing? I guess if they are using 2 strings on their logo hoodies and no one else is, that would make them a "Unique" AAA program, but in reality they are just like everyone else, because that would be distinction without any real difference.
You can argue whatever you like. Using only 4 of the 6 listed definitions to try to prove your point doesn't make you clever, it does however show a lack of respect to your audience. That's fun on a forum, unfortunately many associations, districts, and even MNH have been following this 'misrepresentation of the facts' philosophy.

Your points on this particular thread haven't been insightful, thought provoking, or even funny; they have been a little mean spirited toward a program that, unless you have some actual compelling issues, doesn't deserve that treatment.

Your history of posts would indicate that you haven't a clue as to what you’re talking about. My first take, without having met you, would be that you have decided to try the MM route (no issue with that), however, a tinge of buyers' remorse is moving you toward knocking the rest to ease your subconscious. That's a perfectly understandable coping strategy, but I wouldn't burn the ships yet, Cortez. You may want to hang onto a lifeboat in case the experience isn't all you were expecting - the first time your kid is singled out for an hour by the guy on the microphone will leave you longing for a coach explaining gap control.

Take it or leave it. I waffled regarding responding to your post to begin with - should have gone with my instincts. Then I re-read your manifesto slamming supportive parents by publishing your sarcastic announcement of your kid in the NHL, and I figured, "What the heck."
