Section 2AA- any early predictions

Post by northshore guy »

I know the girls haven't even hit the ice yet, but I am looking to see what we think of the section teams based on what they are returning from last year.... and maybe any new additions

I would think Edina would be the favorites
Ep also has a very good team that can go the distance.

Even though you gave his Eagles "honorable mention", you're going to get the SuperStar all worked up!

I just noticed I left Shakopee off of the list and I am not sure how to edit the poll to add them on.... They are also still in section 2AA this year.

Its too early but I think this will be a two team race, Edina and EP. IMO if the Sectional playoffs started today it would definitely be Edina, however, the playoffs start in February. A lot can happen in the next few months. Injuries, development of young talent, etc. will all play a role.

Edina's talent is deep and the Edina coach will have some tough decisions to make again this year. The Hornets have a good core of returning players (5 D and 5 F) and some outstanding young players coming up. The Eagles have young talent that will get better as the season progresses. I think the goaltending for both teams will be very good.

The picture should be clearer in mid-January.

Well, SBD - It is that time of year to get worked up!!!

I think this year I am gonna take a "softer" and "gentler" approach to the smack talking.....

Long Live EAGLE NATION - I will be watching

We will be able to see EP and Shako in the EP scrimmage next Saturday. THat should be fun. I also see that in the EP winter tournament, I've seen a schedule that has an EP-Shakopee 1st round game.
