Either I am Really good or things are just playing out right now. There are not a lot of changes in the top ten and teams 10-15 are really up and down right now. HS tryouts start this week, on friday some of these teams could get a huge makeover.

1 Edina - This week will determine their fate
2 Duluth East - Good tourney did loose to EP
3 Woodbury - Great team / how many will stay for bantams?
4 Minnetonka - Have been getting better all year long, Will compete for #1 in D6
5 Eden Prairie - had a solid weekend / couple of shoot out losses are difference
6 Apple Valley - need more scores to move them one way or another
7 Wayzata - Young team showing some grit with good games vs top teams
8 Grand Rapids - have they even started yet?
9 Roseau - Will be good, have to wait and see with northern team
10 Lakeville South -
11 Maple Grove -
12 White Bear Lake -
13 Centennial - has lost to almost everyone they played above them.
14 Cloquet - only big win over WBL in meaningless game
15 Moorhead -just started , they will improve
16 Burnsville -
17 Rochester - will be better with time
18 Eagan -
19 Jefferson -
20 Coon Rapids / Elk River - can't decide which D-10 team is worse!!

Mpls/Park possibly with a win over Coon Rapids and a very close 1 goal loss to OMG could be a suprise again.

We followed this game in Maple Grove and it was not as close as you make it sound. OMG dominated most of the play and was up 5-1 going into the 3rd. To Mpls Park's credit they scored 3 late goals but most of the play was owned by OMG.

Mpls/Park will be decent, but not as strong as they were last year....They should have pretty decent goaltending...but Andrle was the straw that stirred their drink last year and he is gone.

HS tryouts are over and a few teams lost some key players, we shall see what this does to the top performers over the next few weeks.

1 Duluth East - kept everyone and are looking for that title
2 Edina - lost 3 but kept walsh! give them time to regroup
3 Minnetonka - solid team, can put points on the board
4 Woodbury - lost 3 but kept Guenzel
5 Eden Prairie - lost to PL, but then beat the hornets
6 Maple Grove - posting good scores, let see how the season goes
7 Wayzata -
8 Grand Rapids -
9 Roseau -
10 Stillwater - to number 10 with a bullet
11 White Bear Lake -
12 Apple Valley - not showing as well as we thought
13 Centennial - handled rochester last week, lost to tonka again
14 Burnsville - good showings this early season
15 Moorhead -
16 Cloquet -
17 Lakeville South - lost player is hurting this team
18 Eagan -
19 Jefferson -
20 Andover - right now rocking the D10, looks like 4 team race there

CNF -

glad Andover made your Top20 list, they really are good this year. Moorhead is interesting, I see only 2 games listed - do you know of any other scores from them?

Haha Nice. Yes they won't match last years team as they return nobody from it. Most of them are off playing Varsity! Congrats Boys! but back on topic they have great goaltending and have a very solid group coming up from peewees but will need a little time to mature. Also will be down right now as both Gleekel and Hale are out with injuries.

YBJ3 you need to read the thread a little, look up a few posts. CNF's ratings were posted on Monday. I don't think much has changed since then!

Rochester played by far the worst game of the year against centennial. They've had close games with Eagan and Wayzata so they can be strong and will get better as the season goes on

I would think White Bear who lost to Stillwater, and went 0 - 2 -1 this weekend will follow them off the list also.

Mpls/Park

I really like the Hale kid, sorry to hear he is out for a while. Is he a Park kid who will go there or is he going to Mpls West or Private (BSM/Blake/Breck)?

I know Iverson is already at Breck as a 7th grader and he has some serious skills, we played them already.

To # 10 in a bullet playing a weak D2 schedule. I would imagine after big losses in EP this weekend to Roseau,EP and Lakeville North they will drop off the list.
Amazingly right on with the top 9! Andover probably deserves the #10 spot, a very good team.

The top 6 have really seperated themselves this week, 7-11 are wait and see picks, and 12-20 seem to change every week. The bottom half of the top 20 is such a mess as every one beats everyone every week. It looks like it is a good year for Bantam A hockey and should make for interesting Rankings all year long.

1 Duluth East - Look to be the team to beat
2 Woodbury - great win over tonka at EP, nice job
3 Minnetonka - very good weekend shows quality of this team
4 Edina - Still a very High quality team
5 Eden Prairie - played well this weekend and gave tonka a run
6 Grand Rapids - Shows they will be good with quality games this weekend
7 Wayzata - still struggeling with top teams
8 Maple Grove - this will be a district 3 toss up OMG or Trojans
9 Centennial - no scores of importance this week, move up by default
10 Roseau - did not show as well as I thought, still early for them
11 White Bear Lake - not sure if they will pick it back up this year
12 Burnsville - played well in own tourney
13 Stillwater - slowing down after fast start, quality of teams has changed
14 Eagan - playing better, with northern run
15 Apple Valley - decreased roster is hurting this team
16 Blaine - young team, showed up this weekend to play
17 Jefferson - Playing better
18 Cloquet -
19 Hopkins - I finally relent and put hopkins on the board
20 Moorhead -

On the outside looking in - (in no particular order)

Mpls Park, , Moundsview, Lakeville South, St. Cloud, Prior Lake, Chaska, Andover

Hale dosn't know where he is going yet.
