<<Not that anyone is counting, but doesn't Minnetonka have three transfers -- Friend (from Hopkins) Raoila (from Chaska) and Blankenship (from Holy Angels).? >> ]

Minnetonka has four transfers counting sophomore von Steinbergs who played at Holy Angels last year.

Didn't see this game but Maple Grove was the strongest team up at Cloquete. They will be strong contenders in this section.

Interesting. I thought Moundsview was pretty strong also (saw them in Hibbing..Buffalo defeated them 2-1 in a 35 minute scrimmage)...I expected them to handle Maple Grove but based on your observations, it shouldn't be surprising it was an overtime game.

Mounds View out played Maple Grove pretty bad for 2 1/2 periods. Maple Grove turned it up the last 10 minutes and were lucky to pull out a victory. Mounds View has a good team and works hard. Maple Grove probably is a more skilled team.

If you really want to count, only Friend and von Steinbergs are on the Tonka team.
