Go to MSHSL.org to see their roster. Only 5 seniors this year and the backup goalie is a freshman. Let the games begin!

Hopefully they cut back on the Jack Daniels so they can play the entire season!

They tried to give other programs a chance to play in the state tournament last year, but in the end, they raised their glasses to celebrate yet another section championship.

Looks like they traded goalies with WBL. Youth for experience. Did they throw in a couple of medals to sweeten the deal?

Here is a question:

If Munson doesnt sign up for WBL bantams, is it safe to assume he was recruited and guaranteed a spot at Hill? Just curious.

Scott Steffen has coached the 95 MN Blades for the past 2 seasons where Munson has played and coincidently Steffen is also associated with Hill Murrays strength and conditioning hockey program

Ruh roh... steffen is now a goalie evaluator? scary. Interesting that a good kid like donnelly can play great for jv and be left there. suppose the starter will play all the games then, and spencer gets to play a lot in jv again, and munson rides the pine? i personally would rather play 70 games at bantams. maybe munson takes over? is he that good?

Or, Munson plays several JV periods, a few varsity games, to keep him sharp in case #1 goes down.

What is Munson?? 5'6", 5"7"??? He is an athletic goalie, but he will get destroyed by the elite players if he goes against them... He can't cover the top of the net. He will be used like Sampair was last year. he will get the Henry Sibley's where the game is 10-1 and he gets 12 shots on goal.

No he was not recruited, always planned on going to Hill. It is just that if you do the summer camp by the end you have a pretty good idea if you are going to make it or not, thus no need to tryout for Bantams.

Goldish....Munson has played more for the Blades the since squirts. I'm sure in the past two summers he's faced far better teams then what you will see at High School.

According to the roster handed out at the Hill-Murray vs White Bear game, it had Munson listed on junior varsity? Any confirmations on the situation there?
