Mahtomedi is an awfully tough team and Ben Marshall is a fun, fun player to watch on defense (and rushing the puck) for the Zephyrs. It also helps that they have this game at home, but I think that Breck will come out firing in defense of its state title.
Marshall was out, we can't judge mahtomedi quite yet because hes a huge part of there team. Also, mahtomedi had their back-up tender in the net. Did wholers get a suspension also or maybe an injury?
That one got ugly. Breck has a great first line and are a very good team. They dominated Mahtomedi. The Zephyrs gave up breakaways and too many odd man rushes with 3 guys deep. When Marshall and Wohlers are back from their suspensions the Zephs will be much better. They looked a little thin on D.
