The Week Ahead: Dec. 1-7, 2009
Breck and Mahtomedi is the showcase game for the first installment of the Week Ahead. Ten games in total are featured, including a pretty good mix of Class A and Class AA battles.

Well, that was quick...they're all good to view now!
And as to the account question, I'm not certain if there are any current benefits to it or not. I know it doesn't cost anything, so other than the hassle of remembering another login and password, I think there aren't any drawbacks. But at this point, I'm not sure there are any benefits, either. Not sure what the Hub owners have in mind for that, but knowing them, I'm sure it's something.

I'm getting the full page of text with the table on the right and I made sure I'm logged out so it doesn't recognize me. Try again and hit refresh and you should get it all...and give it a second to load the whole thing (sometimes the Hub can bog down for a few seconds, I've noticed).Husky88 wrote:All I get is a empty page with only one picture on it .... easy reading.

Friendly Request
You guys appear to be very plugged in on these online resources. Would you mind doing a short explanation/review of each source for those of us who are trying to figure out what is where? I'm referring to the mnhockeyhub, myfoxhockey, followthepuck.com, mnsportspreview and who knows how many others there may be.
Would also appreciate opinions on which is better etc.
Thanks.

mnhockeyhub - newest site (well most recently active, has been around just has way more this season) all mn high school hockey teams will be using this for game stats and recaps. Loren writes some good press, also links to most local newspaper articles about the teams.
****1/2 rating - new bugs yet but good stuff so far.
myfoxhockey - More of a TV news type site and of course done by Fox Sports and they just cover what we all know already. When you can get the feeds the show is good but to watch past shows stinks web site needs work.
** - some good stories, dont know how current and can't seem to get over the river to the East.
followthepuck.com - great site run by Doug, lives in SD. has everything polls, stats, hat tricks recorded, very in depth compressed site that takes most of the info out there and puts it right in front of you.
***** rating - like metioned great stats, previews and overall whats happening in hockey
mnsportspreview - basically advertising the Breakout yearly book. They have great Section coverage and videos with coaches and players. Run Week ahead previews and State team and Game Previews
**** rating - Breakout is great memoriblia for players and parents, also just overall knowledge
minnesota-scores.net - has the QRF ranking and comapres conference and section standings, has State wide ranking by computer results. *** ranking - QRF rankings are great

Poor Imitation - site like this except a little less PC. and yes it has Hill fans too...just the bad ones.
** rating - just due to the Hill fans......well add one * for Dmom.

You (and they) are welcome.

One additional note on MNSportsPreview...we've shifted all our stuff over to the Hub this winter, so it's a combo deal when you go over there. The new link to our stuff is:
http://www.mnhockeyhub.com/page/show/14 ... -breakdown
And that will have all the goods:
1. Top 20 regardless of class rankings
2. the Week Ahead
3. game recaps (with photos, audio/video, etc) for games I'll be at -- including my upcoming schedule
4. photo galleries
5. audio/video galleries
6. feature stories
And trust me...between what I'm posting and what Loren is doing on the main Hub page, there's going to be LOTS more content on the Hub that in the past. In fact, it wouldn't surprise me if there is something new to view nearly every single day. Hockey lovers rejoice!
