Minnetonka 5 CEC 0

Post by DHMN »

Minnetonka routed CEC 5-0... but after the first period it was 0-0 and shots were 11-5.. after 2 periods shots were 31-10 and a 3-0 Minnetonka lead. I believe shots ended up like 48-14...

Minnetonka's Rachel Ramsey scored twice, her second, one of the best slapshots I've seen in girls hockey, from the point that beat the goaltender clean.

CEC played without their top 2 defensemen, one who was injured with a displaced (that was the terminology used anyway) kneecap against Duluth but figures to play Tuesday against Hibbing, and another who separated a shoulder in practice yesterday and is out a week minimum.

Game pictures

Pretty much the story of the game after the first period, not a lot of help in front of the net:

I was going to keep just posting links and a pic or two in the photo area but noone seems to head that way.. based on thread views everyone looks at the threads in the topic sections.

Should we all start a new thread for every game we have an interst in? I'm just asking?

I don't see any harm. Skip the thread if you don't like the title.

Could also just do it like we do on USCHO and create one thread for an individual team and keep game info in that thread...I would have done that but noone has really done that so I didn't
