pre-season predictions for section 3A

what is going on with new ulm could have a 1 and 4 start ?

litch and marshall off to a good start, but really didnt play any body.

hutch only played 1 game dont no much there.

redwood not as good as i thought (lost to windom)

sleepy eye and fairmont SLEEPERS ?

Redwood beats worthington 4-3.... hmmm... interesting.. a win is a win but im sure they would like to beat worthington by more than one especially when marshall beat em by 7 and also pounded windom.

Marshall plays new ulm thursday.. we will see what these teams are made of.

HUGE game tomorrow... new ulm and litchfield.. will show who is a boss.

i predict new ulm wins 5-4....or...4-3....close game... stronger goaltending for new ulm ultimately puts them over the top.

ps. Worthington are benders

kaleb juntunen, who would probably be leading them in scoring, still hasn't played for them this year and i'm not sure when he will be returning,
and yes new ulm does have a pair of sophmores who will be finding the back of the net quite often this year.

He wouldnt be leading in scoring, hes not that good and ineligible for stupid things.

Hes a good player. Ability to play at high levels, he was an eilite 2 player i believe also select 17 so you are obviously ignorant. Might be a bit tougher without reinarts on his line. we will see.

Delano beats hutch 4-2...... nothing else of the game is known as of yet...

New Ulm also had two other players along with Burgau and Juntanen on the Elite II team. Petersen and Banal

Anyways... Tomorrow New Ulm vs. Marshall in New Ulm. Big Game! I think if Juntanen returns that will put New Ulm over Marshall. With goaltending, a strong first line, and mabey those sophmores in the mix? New Ulm with everyone back looks like the team to beat. I say a big win for NU tomorrow. The score will be 6-1, 6-2.

I disagree..........marshall has three solid lines for them and have been playing solid hockey latley........New ulm has a great hockey team this year and will be tough to beat. If marshall wants to beat new ulm they are going to have to play there very best and have very few mistakes if they are going to beat them, if they do that then i have a very close game with either marshall or new ulm winning in a 3-2 or 4-3 game.

Marshall needs to play there best to beat new ulm tonight, any mistakes marshall is more then likely going to lose. I do think marshall is the most underrated team in the section.

Marshall beats New Ulm 3-2. This game came down to coaching and Marshall just out coached New Ulm a little. Congrats to the Marshall boys! This team has made a great statement this year! Sleeper team!?

New Ulm is still missing their high scorer, Kaleb Juntenen. He is expected to be back soon. As in the next game or something. He is as potent on offense as he was last year, maybe even better with the hard work he has put in over the off season. Also, he has been honing his skills on the other side of the rink, as well. He is a playmaker that can fire up the crowd and silence the competition. Juntenen has such an impact on the team that I believe New Ulm will still take the section despite their current record.

I am pretty sure he wasnt blaming the new ulm coaches for not coaching well. He is saying that the marshall coaches have worked alot with their boys and taught them to bury their chances and have tremendous goaltending. That doesnt mean anything and btw in the new ulm paper the new ulm coach defiantly said that they need to stop playing me-me-me hockey and start playing together. That might come when they have all of their players back but from my eyes they need better team chemistry.
