Hastings vs East Ridge Dec. 10th

Post by wbmd »

Both teams are winless early in the season. Will one of them come away with the win or will they both stay winless with a tie?

Game starts at 7:30 at Cottage Grove.

East Ridge played both St. Francis and Woodbury tough. My vote goes to the Raptors.

Raptors 4-1.

They've looked strong against good teams.

Rosemount is much better this season, and White Bear was dominant on Saturday. Big deal. They have to play the game. Raiders 4, Raptors 1.

Well the way i see it the pressure is already on us.
E.R is a team we have to beat. There are very few teams worse than us. The good thing is it looks like we might have a couple of decent young players this year.
The bad things: Our defense is terrible from top to bottem. Not much improvement here the last few year's. Goaltending is weak without J.G and the coaching is prehistoric and predictable.
My guess is by the time our better younger players reach their senior years they will have either given up, or rotted in the "good ole boy" system we have here. Too bad for the younger guys that they don't see that. A winning tradition would be nice to see again. Its been quite some time. I'd love to say were on our way up but i'm afraid until the head cheese is history nothing much here in Raiderville will change.
This game though i'll take the Raiders 3-2

I am sorry.......... I just had to.....

I actually think that since East Ridge is new, and the season is early, the fire to compete will be easy to ignite, realizing this is a winnable game. If East Ridge can't muster up any wins, the season will drag on and lacing the skates will be harder to do.

Hastings 4, East Ridge 1.

It was 1-1 through one, and Hastings chipped away in the second and third to win it.

Shots: Hastings 23, ER 11
