How is AHA looking
How is AHA looking this year? I'm looking forward to seeing them after the new year when they travel out east to play MSC (RI) and Catholic Memorial (MA).
doing a bit of scouting for those east coast teams?
Anyways, they beat Shakopee 12-0 last night, and I think that was the first game of the year for them. This game is not a good indicator for how talented AHA is because Shakopee has never had much success on the ice. By almost all accounts, they're a top 10 team, though.

Trebil go play a real schedule.
Go back and read all the previous years posts about the schedule then come back and comment.
at least they have assists and play as a team instead of running up and down as individuals.
Oh and I seem to recall that they were in the state tournament four years in a row winning it twice with the same conference schedule.

I will agree (I don't know why it doesn't happen) Missota teams should choose to play AHA only once instead of twice. No benefit to either team.
youngblood, you are right though, it would be so much more beneficial for them to put a couple of their girls players on the ice during conference games, then some girls would gain some great experience and they'd only win by 5 or 6 goals.

Yes your mathematics are sharp, but we would assume a poster so experienced as yourself would have better English. More THAN 24 posts, 2 MORE years.youngblood08 wrote:does clueless mean funny?? talk to me when you have more then 24 posts.......which by my calc should be in more 2 years.buddish4mrhockey wrote:youngblood you are clueless.. look at their non conference schedule.. they don't pick who plays in the Missota
I normally wouldn't nitpick poor grammar but I'm trying to prove a point that more posts on a forum doesn't make you smarter, nor does it make your opinion more valid.

Why are transfers always teams "landing players" or the team bringing them in?
Apparently a senior on their team is from Chaska. If your high school career (and I'm not supporting this) is centered around your one sport, you play for Chaska, you are good enough to make a competitive roster, and your parents don't want to move, what is your one option? A private school. It's not "r-word," it's the nature of private schools; anyone can come in from anywhere as long as they meet standards.

Erickson is from Chaska. I believe he was the top scorer on Chaska? ...not positive. Hard to compare Mattson and him, from what I saw in the Elite League he is a smart player with good hands. AHA has two powerhouse lines, I wonder if Erickson was reunited with his Chaska team mates, the Reillys. Anybody know line combinations? Tommy Burke in the net, looks like he recorded a shutout first game. Two senior defensemen "probably" paired with Sophomore, Mike Reilly and Freshman, Frankie Mork.
Re: AHA
well for every other sport its even and if they were in a conference like the classic lake their other sports would have no chance, so sorry nothing they can do about itblueblood wrote:12-0 with 24 assists to pad the stats of all AHA players. What a joke.
