I honestly dont know about Lacrosse though- I just know supposedly we're pretty good so I threw that on there.
What about 4 square, rock paper scissors, sno-ball fight, sledding, and basket weaving????? oh yeah, we're talking hockey.....

You joined less than 3 weeks ago, and it seems from your posts as though you either struggle with long term memory, or are too young to have attended numerous games in this rivalry.

Just because Virginia won last year (the one game), has nothing to do with whether something happened in a previous game or year.
I had a different account, but I deleted that email account...
Virginia beat hibbing in section finals 3-1
Hibbing beat Virginia last Jan. 4-2 in a penalty filled game.
They split games the year before.(07-08 )
for the 2 years before that Hibbing knocked Virginia out of the playoffs during semis (06-07,05-06)
Virginia beat Hibbing 5-3 in 2005 to go to state
bottom line is Virginia and Hibbing hate each other

How's my memory now?
Great job on the stats!
that was off the top of my head...

Although the past few years have been blow out games for West, i think that the rivalry between Mankato East and MAnkato West will heat up and be a good two games this year.

Edina vs EP

By far, is there a bigger fan draw. It is always Edina vs EP in the Holiday Tournament at Braemer. This is aways sold out. These kids hate each other. Otherwise, its EP versus Jefferson, or anyone versus Edina. There are a number of smaller revivals, especially when it comes to section playoffs.

It is a good rivary, but it doesn't have anywhere close to the history of Tonka-Edina, those games typically sell out as well, both teams are usually in the mix, and they play each other at least twice per season which adds to the heat.

Oh wait, they are on the same team now.
City hockey is dead.

Willmar--LDC the only rivalry that doesnt play anymore due to the adminstration stopping it. Only 24 miles apart and dont play after 30 years . Thanks Willmar, I guess you shouldnt be worried about cuts in your budget when you book teams 2.5 hours away instead playing your nieghbor down the road.
Dont tell us you have budget problems.
