I don't really know the point of this post, but to "quote" somone, simply use the "quote" button at the upper right corner of the post. When you are reading a post and are moved to quote it, push the button and it automatically quotes the message and gives you room to say whatever you want, while presenting it the way you see most quotes.

defense,
1. I, too, don't know the point of his post.
2. I have had the same issue. Probably a setting's thing, but whenever I try to quote, what happened to that poster happens to me. Never figured it out.

The point of his/her post is that South St. Paul does have games scheduled this week.

His/her point is listed under post subject.

It is more of a personal preference thing. There are two things which cause why gopherhockey22's post came out looking screwy:

1. If you check out your individual Profile, there is an option to "Always allow BBCode" If you have this checked yes, then when you quote someone, it comes out looking correct. Otherwise, it doesn't.

2. Even if you don't have the Always allow BBCode option checked as "yes" (and I can think of no reason anybody would have it checked "no", when you reply to a post, uncheck the option "Disable BBCode in this post". It is either checked or unchecked by default depending on how your settings are in #1 above. Again, you can override your default setting for each individual reply you make.

Same thing applies to Smilies, also.

Like the poster gopherhockey22 stated in the subject line, South St. Paul is hosting the South St. Paul Premier Tournament this week.

Perhaps HShockeywatcher should be up to date if he/she is going to do ratings each week.

Wow, sorry I missed one thing. It's fixed now.

I am now venturing out of just the one site I used for schedules, as they only listed the first games in the tournament, not the others as TBA.

Still doesn't explain the need to quote something that long only to say a sentence about it. Happens all the time with karl's rankings; 4 people will quote the whole thing. Why not just assume people can read the previous post and make your comment?

Anyway, good luck to teams today.
