Anyone got a score for the first game? I took a ton of PTO last week, so I have to work a couple days this week!

Post scores please because the first couple of games are interesting today.

Mason City was very good in a 6-0 win over Duluth Central, their top line is as good as any in the tournament, their depth is somewhat lacking but they have a good goalie and really move the puck quickly and accurately. I was impressed.

It was tough to tell anything about Richfield as LaCrescent just wasn't very good. Mason City got to rest some kids in the third and the semi final game should be pretty good.

Brainerd and Fargo South played a pretty gritty defensive game, I don't think either team has the horses to beat Century though.

Once again the Refs are horrible on the AA bracket side. They made 8 penalty calls on Brainerd and only 1 on Fargo south today. That's what kept Fargo South in the game. Eastview vs. Mayo wasn't any better. One of the Refs is a usual ref for the Ice Hawks and he makes the same bad calls there.

I think they won it back in the 90s. Don't hold me to that though.

JM won it in '96 or '97, just once though. They also have been in the finals, maybe last in 2003.

Century 4
Eastview 3,
Century was up 4-0 before Eastview came back.

Albert Lea 4
Duluth Central 4
AL wins Consolation on a shoot out.

Fargo South Beat Mayo 4-2 or something like that, I can't remember.

Dodge County 4
LaCrescent 0

Int Falls 4
Richfield 2

Mason City beats Lourdes in a shootout, game was tied 1-1 at the end of overtime. A very good game, a tough loss for Lourdes and a really nice win for Mason City - a team that competes in Minnesota hockey District 4
